SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT
Think about how much could be accomplished if MAGAts would stop thinking about penises, vaginas, buttholes, and making legislation to control orifices and what consenting adults choose to do with them. Did you know that 18 states still have laws on the books that make oral sex illegal?[1] It isn’t, though, because in 2003 the Supreme Court of the US said such laws themselves are illegal. (And a grateful nation breathed a sigh of relief.) They were trying to make gay people having sex punishable by the government. But they caught up everybody. (This is common and often referred to as the “law of unintended consequences.”)
The MAGA Roberts’ Supremes have already overturned what was considered set law for decades. Jesus Christ! MAGAt Supreme Thomas wants the court to look at Jim Crow era law and voting rights again, among others, including Obergfell.[2] They’ve already gutted the Voting Rights Act.
MAGA Republicans could try working on some legislation that helps people deal with the high cost of groceries, being able to buy enough gas to get to work, paying rent, making life affordable. But no. Too many people still live in poverty. 40 million. They’re blowing innocent people up. And gay people using bathrooms is a big problem? What the fuck is the matter with these people?
They are supposed to be representing us rather than corporate overlords and oligarchs. MAGA Republicans could be doing something constructive like making them pay some damn taxes proportional to their real income.
Putting people first will improve America.
Imagine that!
ROUND UP!
Nazis started off rounding up Jews. They quickly escalated to rounding up others that they didn’t like. Others that weren’t considered to be part of the Aryan “master race.” They sent queers, people with disabilities, Poles, dissidents (German citizens), Romani (Gypsies), political opposition, people of color, and others to concentration camps, death camps, and prisons.[3] [4]
MAGA is openly racist with their anti- diversity, equality and inclusion policies. Today’s MAGA uses much of the same language that the Nazis did in referring to those they considered sub-human and not white master race worthy.[5]
Nazis and MAGA have the same list.
WHITTLING AWAY HUMANITY.
There have been 10,350 anti-LGBTQIA Bills introduced by MAGA Republicans since 2003.[6] Of those 1,282 passed. All the legislation is designed to strip away their human rights and legalize marginalizing them.
In 2025 there were 1,022 anti-trans bills introduced in state legislatures by fascists Republicans.[7] Of those 126 passed. They just chip away human rights a bit at a time to further marginalize LGBTQIA and non-white minority groups.
With the rise of MAGA violence against LGBTQIA has risen as well.[8] Transgender people have suffered the largest increase in violence with 2025 being the most dangerous year on record.[9] Christian nation my ass.
So far in 2026, 65 “bathroom” bills have passed.[10] To use Kansas as an example, their legislature passed SB244 that requires public bathrooms only to be used by the sex they were designated with at birth. Kansas has around 90,000 LGBTQIA people with 1700 people that are Trans.[11] Here’s where unintended consequences might factor in: Will there be penis/vagina checkers posted at restrooms? How will they know who to check? Or will they just check everybody? Perhaps the legislature will just require Sex Identification Cards. I’m guessing that a note from a doctor won’t suffice.
These are the areas that Republicans target for legislation to reduce LGBTQIA human rights:
Healthcare, sports, education, employment, performance, bathroom, incarceration, child, abuse, child custody, civil rights, adoption, marriage, birth, certificates, religious exemptions, pronouns, military, parental rights and other.[12]
It is how a group like LGBTQIA people is systematically legally erased and left with fewer rights along with a diminished humanity until they’re shoved back in the closet and punished if they come out.
Remember when the Supreme Court upheld the right of a couple that owned a bakery to refuse to bake a cake for a gay couple?[13] How much of a leap is it to refuse queers groceries, housing, medical services, etc.? It isn’t much of a leap at all and MAGA Republicans are already working on it.
We’re still in the early stages of MAGA fascism. They aren’t snatching up and incarcerating gay people and others yet. But they’re laying the necessary groundwork.
Just like the Nazis did.
MAGATS HATE GAYS
Where we live a local TV station posted about an upcoming Pride parade. MAGAt commenters had a field day posting their anti-gay comments. Invariably when I check the commenters’ own pages, they are MAGA. I have not run across a non-MAGA poster of this kind of crap yet though I’m sure they’re out there.
Politicians from both political parties (but let’s face it, mostly Republicans) only get noted as being gay when they get outed by someone else or get caught soliciting gay sex.[14]
I’m going to share some of their milder comments. Although I’m not sure that wanting someone to burn in hell for all eternity is a mild comment for anyone except White Christian Nationalists.
- “Remember when we didn’t know someone was gay and how nice that was?” (The don’t ask, don’t tell crowd is alive and well. Don’t ask, don’t tell didn’t work. During that time when someone was caught being gay they were punished. That’s what MAGA wants to bring back. Punishment. They’ll just punish the gay right out of them.)
- “Imagine the stench……..” (What would gay stench smell like and how would they know?)
- “I’m glad to not be at that pedo fest” (MAGA doesn’t like pedos except for the MAGA Republican pedos in the Epstein files and any Republican pedos that haven’t come out yet. They support Republican pedos. BTW, gay does not equal pedophile)
- “Celebrating perverse sexuality, oh brother…” (If you want to talk about perverse sexuality, check out the KJV bible.)
- “Oh, how you all need the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart. He created the rainbow. The rainbow belongs to Him. God wants you to turn from your sin and live for him.”(There were lots of woke religious commenters. Pride rainbow colors really trigger them. Jesus never said a word against homosexuals, remember.)
- “Celebrating the perverted and debaucherous lifestyle targeting impressionable children. “(MAGAts are always worried about the kids. If one of their kids turns out to be queer, they know it wasn’t their fault. They have to find someone else to blame.)
- “Happy President Obama Appreciation Day!!!” (Thanks Obama.)
- “Need to reopen recently closed mental health facilities.” (They can and they likely will. MAGA obviously wants to fill them. Besides MAGA Republicans are already building facilities. On the other hand, we could use someplace to treat the sufferers from the actual Trump Derangement Syndrome the MAGA Trump cultists.)
- “Mentally ill on parade” (A Gestapo volunteer ready to sign up.)
- “Tardfest” (Every accusation is a confession. This commenter is almost as smart as his Fuhrer Trump.)
- “Freak shows always is a big draw” (Stellar grammar skills on display as usual))
- “FREAKSHOW SHITEATERS ON PARADE.” (You won’t need 3 guesses to figure out if this commenter was MAGAt. They are. When all else fails, bring out the ALL CAPS!)
- “Happy GROOMER month.” (This person must never have been to high school gym class. The jocks I knew in school absolutely could not keep their hands off one another in the showers. Constant grab ass. This would have been during the “don’t ask, don’t tell years.”)
- “It makes me so sad that we have allowed this to come into our state and spread this filth. God please protect our state and communities from this evil deception.” (This would be a good time to reference the scripture about the two daughters that fucked their dad. This commenter is the perfect example of why we need the separation of church and state.)
MAGAts love to crow about the thousands of people that they are grabbing up off the streets and deporting. Legals. Illegals. People with the appropriate paperwork. Citizens. The MAGA Gestapo aka ICE has quotas of brown people to reach. They relish the cruelty. For MAGA destroying lives is cause for celebration.
How long before they start rounding up LGBTQIA people?
GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.
Millions of people are already on the various lists of people to round up. Any of your family, friends or acquaintances on a list or soon will be? Think MAGAts are safe? Nope the Gestapo has rounded up MAGAts, too, and citizens.[15]
Anytime a person of color, is shot and killed by ICE their first MAGA response is to side with ICE. They had it comin’. (Yes, I know that MAGA has killed white people too.) The same is true when families are separated or people die while in custody. Think MAGAts will oppose shooting queers? They’re already shooting immigrants and brown people they think might be immigrants. It won’t be a big step up to shooting queers or anyone else deemed an enemy of the state (Trump).
White Christian Nationalists continue marching in lockstep with their New Age Fuhrer Trump across the nation, not the people they’re supposed to be representing. Just the MAGAts, and they come after Fuhrer Trump. Trump comes first. ALWAYS.
NO ONE IS SAFE.
