Keep on scrolling if you are
easily triggered by talks of starvation, holocaust, genocide, Palestinians and
Jews don’t read this. This is a lengthy read and I suggest that people don’t
jump to conclusions.
Also, I would argue that it’s
not anti-Semitic to call out Israel for their war crimes. Jews have
historically been treated badly but that doesn’t excuse what they themselves
are doing today.
Head Count
It’s been
hard for me to believe and accept that a people that lost so many to the
fanatical hatred of racist fascists would wage war on so many innocents, or are
we expected to believe that all Palestinians are guilty and need to die?
We already know where that leads. The history of the Jewish people, especially,
informs us.
Holocaust.[1] The word evokes so much.
The Holocaust was genocide committed against the Jewish people.[2] Six million Jews were
murdered. Soviet civilians and POWs account for another 5,500,00. Here’s a
comprehensive list of who all the Nazis murdered.[3]
In 1948 the United Nations defined
what constitutes genocide (holocaust).[4] There have been other
holocausts since WWII. In Rwanda approximately 800,000 Tutsis were slaughtered
by Hutus.[5] During the Bosnian War
8,000 men and boy Bosniaks (Muslims) were killed in what was later ruled an act
of genocide at Srebrenica.[6]
There were over 2 million people
living in Gaza before Hamas attacked Israel and killed around 1200 people,
mostly civilian men, women, and children, and took 251 hostages.[7] There are varying
estimates as to how many people have now been killed in Gaza. The range is from
over 52,000 to as many as 109,000 deaths with an Israeli estimate of 20,000
militants being in those numbers.[8] Women and children are
reported to comprise 70% of the deaths.[9]
These numbers don’t
include Palestinians wounded.[10]
Starving
Palestinians out.
On top of
bombing the shit out of everything, Israel has also stopped shipments of food
and other desperately needed supplies. There are men, women, and children in
Gaza starving right now.[11] Over half of the buildings
in Gaza have been destroyed.[12] Over 90% of residential
buildings have been destroyed along with sewage and water treatment facilities.[13] At least 176 journalists
and other media workers have been killed.[14] Most Gaza hospitals have
been destroyed. Of Gaza’s former 36 hospitals only 21 are even partially
functional.[15]
In simple
terms, the government of Israel is committing war crimes. The International
Criminal Court[16]
has issued an arrest warrant accusing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and others
of committing crimes against humanity.[17] The United States and
Israel do not belong to the court.
Starving a
population is a war crime.

Meanwhile
Trump is in the Middle East glad-handing Arabs and openly taking bribes.[18]
President
Trump toured the Middle East and sold lots of weapons to Arabs including
terrorist supporting states.[19] [20] [21] These purchases include
state of the art weapons systems.[22] Keep in mind that the
Houthi rebels in Yemen are already shooting down American Reaper drones.[23]
Trump skipped visiting Israel. That
should be a cause of concern for Israel.[24] Perhaps they should
consider giving him a nice bribe. But they’re going to be hard pressed
to come up with something even close to the billions that Arabs are pouring
into him and his family personally.[25] Trump has monetized the
Presidency like no one before him to the tune of doubling his wealth to $5.1
billion.[26] His cult followers have also
contributed a couple hundred million by buying things like Trump’s God Bless
the USA bibles that were made in China for $3 each.[27]
When Trump’s oligarchs make money,
Trump gets to wet his beak too.[28] Trump’s military
industrial oligarchs made out like bandits in the Middle East so their
“donations” to Trump have really paid off.[29] Death is a highly
profitable industry. Israel is using U.S. supplied equipment to flatten Gaza.
Onward Christian Nationalists!
All of this
wealth will bring work and investments to the United States, including the
further development of AI technology which business will use to replace
workers. That’s why Trump eliminated regulations on AI. The threat of AI
running amok doesn’t enter into the oligarch money-making equation.

Despots need
dead bodies.
Killing
just comes naturally to fascist authoritarian leaders and their followers.
Hitler had 50,000 Germans that opposed Nazism murdered as well.
I’ve already heard MAGA idiots hollering in Walmart that Democrats need to be
executed. MAGA threatens others as well. Anyone that is anti-MAGA earns their
threats. Despots like Trump rule by fear and intimidation. (Trump has lost his
mind over James Comey’s 86 47 Instagram post too as Bruce Springsteen’s
outspoken disgust but his intimidation tactics seem likely to fail in these
instances.)
At Trump’s behest, MAGA Republicans
are already killing people of color when they cut off aid to the Sudan.[30] They’re dying of
starvation. It’s hard for MAGA to imagine people being one meal away from
dying. The pro-life Christian Fascists supporting Trump will make all
sorts of excuses for their wanton evil actions. Aid from the United States has been saving lives all over the world. Doesn’t
that seem like it’s what a supposedly Christian nation should be doing? But
MAGA members in Congress cut off aid and suppressed any government agency or
employee that dared to tell the truth.
Like the Nazis, fascists,
communists and other totalitarians, MAGA is demonizing millions of immigrants with lies and deceit. They use the same tactics that Hitler used. Millions of immigrants are
described with racist words. They call undocumented migrants criminals yet
they’re less likely to commit crime than American citizens.[31] But MAGA trots out some
heinous crime that an immigrant committed and act like that’s all immigrants.
Does Jeffrey Dahmer or Timothy McVeigh define all white people? Hardly.
It's no wonder MAGA is rewriting
history. It shows what acts we’re capable of committing as a nation. There were
12.5 million slaves sent to the Americas; of this number 1.8 million died in
transit. [32]
There were approximately 10 million indigenous people living in America when
the first settlers arrived.[33] There were 300,000 left
by 1900.
If MAGA
doesn’t like being called fascists or Nazis then they should stop acting like
them.
Genocide is in our
history.
Each day we’re
one step closer.
Trump
already has his secret police grabbing people off the street. Militarized internment
camps are being built in the United States.[34] [35] [36] He has already sent
immigrants who are demonstrably not criminals to a concentration camp in El
Salvador. MAGA has threatened martial law in the past and this was before Trump
got immunity from his MAGA Supremes.[37] Trump thumbs his nose at
the courts and so far the courts have done absolutely nothing other than issue
paper.
Trump is a President that threatens
people every day. He even threatens his own MAGA Supremes that made a man like
him possible by placing him above the law.[38] He even threatens MAGA
Republicans when they don’t toe the line.
It’s for
all these reasons and many more that I refer to Trump as Führer and this
presidential term as the Trump Reich.[39]
I believe along with others that the likelihood of true representative
elections being held in 2026 is really iffy. His MAGA cult still
believes he won in 2020 and MAGA has the people in key places that they need to
steal elections. If the Democrats don’t pull a rabbit out of the hat in 2026
it’s over. Kiss democracy goodbye. Say hello to the Trump Reich.
America did
not respond well early on when Jewish immigrants were trying to escape Nazis
prior to our entry to WWII.[40] America did finally get
involved and lost 250,000 people fighting Nazis.[41] Japanese Americans were
sent to internment camps during WWII.[42] And now we have a Trump
administration where Nazi sympathizers keep showing up.[43] [44] [45]
But. We
also have a history of doing the right thing when chips are down. America is
best when we rise above men and women like Trump like we have done in the past.[46]
