Making sense of the unsensible. Let’s see if we can find some clarity in Trumplandia. As for the war with Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) knows that they can’t win.[1] They don’t have to. They just have to not lose. They’re willing to sacrifice a few million civilians to martyrdom let alone a few thousand. Iran’s religious zealots are much like our white nationalist fascist evangelicals in that regard.
Go to the Trump Archives and search the word “war.” 481tweets will come up.
QUACKING LIKE A DUCK.
Trump along with his administration has said that we are both at war with Iran and not at war with Iran. This from the guy that renamed the Department of Defense to the Department of War except they didn’t really.
Trump and Israel attacked Iran on Feb. 28th while USA Trump was negotiating with them.[2] Trump said that he didn’t think that the negotiations were going well. Now the USA and Israel are multitasking rubbleizing more of the Mideast while trashing the world economy.
Unsurprisingly Iran fights back.
SPIN THE BOTTLE
Keep in mind that King Trump’s racist regime has already been rounding up Iranians and deporting them, including Iranian Trump supporters.[3] MAGA Missouri Senator Eric Schmidt along with other MAGAts said that they need to start deporting naturalized citizens too.[4] Remember when MAGAts said that they were only going to deport brown-colored criminals and then have deported mostly good people? Oh yeah, they’re still doing that.
All they are saying is give war a chance. MAGAt Republicans are supporting King Trump whatever the war not war reason/s being called at any given time.
Really, just spin the bottle if you want to know the reason as to why Trump wanted to wage war against Iran.
Reason du jour: distract from the Epstein files, destroy Iran’s already previously destroyed nuclear program, imminent threat posed by Iran, protecting Iranian protestors, regime change, a preemptive attack (Iran was going to attack us.), Netanyahu was going to attack IRAN so Trump wanted to join in, it’s Biden’s and/or Obama’s fault,[5] stabilize the region, distract from the Epstein files. [6] [7]
Pick one or make up one of your own reasons.
FALLOUT
Middle East countries supporting the US are being struck by Iran.
Strait of Hormuz was shut down by Iran. Trump was surprised by that?! File under ‘you’ve got to be kidding.’ About 20 million barrels of oil a day passed through the strait a day.[8]
Russia openly says that they’re helping Iran.[9] Specifically Russia is providing satellite imagery to help Iran target our troops.
Trump helps Russia by stopping the ban on Russian oil.[10]
Trump said that he’s removing sanctions against Iranian oil.[11] Whaaaat??? Not kidding. He’s fucking nuts.
Ukrainian President Zelensky offers to help the US fight against Iranian drones.[12] Trump promptly insults Zelensky. In the past Trump has told him to settle with Putin because Putin is easy to negotiate with.
Speaking of drones, the US has lost at least 9 Reaper drones to Iranian fire so far.[13] Most recently an F-35 is reported as being hit. Is this being reported by MAGAt mainstream propaganda media? Does this sound like their military has been obliterated?
Trump tells off the UK for offering help.
Trump asks the European allies that he has been threatening and trashing for years for help getting ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Not surprisingly they refused.
Trump asks former allies for help. So far they have a united front in NOT helping Trump with his war.
Trump says that we have obliterated Iran’s military capabilities. He really likes the word obliterated, though apparently, he doesn’t know what it means. Either way, evidently Iran didn’t get the memo.
Iran keeps attacking and knocking out our radars.
In Iraq our embassy and military base have been attacked.
The Trump administration tells US citizens to leave the region.
Two Amazon data centers in the United Arab Emirates and one facility in Bahrain have been attacked.[14]
Trump blames Biden and Obama for causing the war he initiated.[15]
The war continues.
LONG TERM EFFECTS
The world has watched how quickly our democracy in America turned into a racist fascist state. Institutions failed without so much as a fight. Conservative corporate oligarch media immediately became regime propaganda outlets. Illegal acts were committed. Courts were ignored. Trump’s Supremes gave him immunity for his actions.
Our former allies are building new trade and security alliances and canceling US contracts.[16] [17] [18]
Infrastructure necessary for the transportation, storage, and production of oil is being destroyed throughout the Mideast and not just in Iran.
If the Strait of Hormuz remains closed for longer than 3 weeks look for energy costs to skyrocket and stay high.[19] The more infrastructure that’s destroyed, the more that will have to be rebuilt.
The world’s largest natural gas field in Iran was struck by Israel.[20] Iran struck Qatar’s gas fields.[21]
Influential Arabs are claiming that they have received zero return on the billions that they have pumped into Trump’s personal family coffers and finances.[22] They got war and they are vulnerable. But honestly, what did they expect from Trump and Co? He’s a grifter with no sense of loyalty whatsoever; he will not feel obligated to return any favors.
So far Iran has also launched attacks against, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Akrotiri and Dhekelia, West Bank, Oman, Kuwait, and Lebanon.[23] (Not a complete list.)
None of this is going to be fixed in years. There are some things that can’t be fixed. We have new generations of people that will now hate the United States of America. Our government can’t be trusted by citizens, friends, and foes alike. Pedo King Trump and his MAGAt white Christian nationalist fascists are censoring the truth and suppressing dissent.
Netanyahu and Trump’s war are now literally affecting the lives of billions of people and not in a good way.
They are living the truth firsthand.
