In this Substack post I’m going to try and provide a little insight into what we’re up against in the 2026 midterms.
Me to you.
Billionaires own the world. They’re in the process of buying and controlling governments. Billionaires are pushing/pursuing AI. So far, we’re just along for the ride and living in the world they’re buying. Our standard of living is controlled. With each passing year it gets harder for people to make a living.
For those that might not know the phrase “Big Brother is watching you” comes from George Orwell’s dystopian novel about a totalitarian society that spies on EVERYONE, “1984”.[1] The dictator is called Big Brother.
Trump is our fascist President/zking/Emperor/Fuhrer and is wanting states to share more data with the federal government about voters.
We’re there.
YOU’RE THE TARGET
It is all about your personal data. YOU. All of you. Everything you do. Where you go physically and electronically. Who you know. What you like. What you don’t like. The you that you think is private. The you that is known. The you that is not known. Data. Ones and zeros. Bits and bytes of information.
I sincerely believe that everyone should be working on communication alternatives.
Why? Good question. Let me explain.
The reason that I have been pushing Substack as an alternative is that I have access to email addresses. In other words, if Substack closes shop to dissidents, I would still be able to contact people.
Conservative conglomerates or billionaires already own the majority of media. Plenty of articles have been written about that.
In brief, six companies control 90% of media.[2] (Note: Paramount bought National Amusements owned by the Redstones.) Companies that are public often have a majority of voting stock concentrated with individuals or certain investors.
Oracle is laying off 30,000 people so the company can build more AI data centers.[3] In the AI world people are expendable. Oracle is one of the 20 largest companies in the world and is headed by Larry Ellison.[4] He’s worth over $400 billion.
Billionaires have incestuous relationships with other businesses. If you start looking you’ll see the same names like Blackrock that keep turning up. Blackrock has $12.5 trillion in assets under management.[5] The Chairman and CEO of Blackrock is Larry Fink. Would it surprise you to find out that he’s a billionaire worth $1.3 billion? He is.[6]
In addition to causing social unrest and a restructuring of society, AI will leave billionaires in charge.

SOME OF THE PLAYERS
Comcast (Brian L. Roberts): NBC, Universal Pictures, Telemundo[7] He’s only worth $700 million.[8]
Disney (CEO Josh D’Amaro): ABC, ESPN, Pixar, Marvel Studios, too many others to name them all. As best I can determine D’Amaro is only worth tens of millions of dollars. But he’s definitely running with the big dogs now.
News Corp (Rupert Murdoch): Fox News, Wall Street Journal, New York Post. Murdock is worth $22.4 billion.[9]
Paramount (Larry and David Ellison): CBS, Showtime, Nickelodeon and is in the process of acquiring Warner Bros. which owns Discovery, HBO, CNN, Warner Bros. films[10]
Sony: Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Sony Music, is a Japanese Multinational conglomerate headed by Kenichiro Yoshida. He’s worth a couple of billion.[11]
Google (Alphabet Inc.) was founded by now billionaires Larry Page (3rd richest) and Sergey Brin. Each of them is worth over $250 billion.[12]
Yahoo is owned by Apollo Global Management. The CEO is Mark Rowan, one of the founders is worth $7 billion.[13]
Washington Post is owned by Billionaire Jeff Bezos ($223.5 billion) who folded and got on his knees before Trump instantly.[14] Crap he folded before Trump even won. Did he know something? Russian Oligarchs that run afoul of Putin will occasionally fall out of a high up window. I guess it’s better safe than sorry even for billionaires.
The New York Times is a publicly traded company.[15] Arthur Gregg Sulzberger is the chairman and publisher. The President and CEO is Meredith Kopit Levien. The Ochs-Sulzberger family trust controls the class B voting shares.[16] Sulzberger seems to have his head in the right place for a multi-millionaire.[17]
Substack is owned by Chris Best, Hamish McKenzie, and Jairaj Sethi. The company is valued at a little over a billion dollars. IDK if they’re conservative or not but they do host far right extremists, Nazis, and white nationalists so obviously they aren’t bashful about taking their money. What do you think they’ll do when someone really rich throws a few billion at them to buy their platform?[18]
Tik Tok is owned by …not sure if we know who for real owns the American control over them in the United States.[19] Best guess is that it’s some rich people.
Palantir, CEO Alexander Karp is worth $14 billion. The company specializes in data mining software. Peter Thiel yet another crazy ass conservative fascist supporting billionaire was a co-founder. Theil is worth $29.5 billion.[20] The CIA backed Palantir. Kind of says a lot right there don’t cha think?
Anyway, Thiel backed JD Vance and was instrumental in getting him the VP spot on the ticket.[21] Remember the opening quote? Theil helped build the technology that provides for the federal government to track EVERYBODY!
It’s why the Fascist Trump administration is wanting to grab up voter data bases and combine them with all the federal data bases and any other data bases that they can buy or extort.[22] [23] [24]
How many of the above players do you think put people first? Their job is to create money, wealth, and power for themselves. Do you think that they spend a lot of their day thinking about democracy or working people other than how to take advantage of both?
They, and by “they” I mean all the filthy rich, are already censoring the news and/or supporting the fascist administration. Social media is already controlling what is seen and shared regarding political information and what’s going on in the world.
Legacy media is downplaying how much damage is being done.[25] Ben Gurion airport has been successfully attacked not once but several times. It is Israel’s only international airport and flights have been limited.[26] Billions of dollars in damage have been done throughout the region. The United States has had to evacuate bases of personnel and put them up in hotels.[27]
Influencers like Stonekettle Station (Jim Wright) have seen their interactions drop dramatically as have others. Especially if they are critical of Trump or his administration.
There are a few legacy media holdouts like the New York Times and Guardian that still maintain their integrity in reporting. There are a few others. Newsweek still seems to be doing a credible job. I continue using Media Bias fact checking on sources.
Independent groups and people like Zeteo, Meidas touch, Aron Parnas, Adam Mockler, Brian Tyler Cohen, Jo Jo from Jerz, Like Beasley, Keith Edwards are out there.
In the meantime, Fuhrer Trump is continuing increasing the mass surveillance of citizens that oppose MAGA.[28] That’s why they have designated their political opposition domestic terrorists so they can be rounded up and stuck in the concentration camps they’re preparing.
