What’s in store for the nation? Where will the Trump Party take us? What are their goals? We have clues from postings that have been made from Republicans in the Trump Party. None of them point in a very good direction for our nation. Keep in mind that Senator McConnell said that they weren’t going to release their agenda until AFTER they took back the House and Senate majorities.
· They along with Trump are the victims. Our nation needs liberated as does Canada and Mexico!
· They are willing to use violence to do it. (Writer Jim Wright talks about our drift towards fascism much better than I can at this link.)
- They don’t like queers so they’re passing anti-gay laws.
- Laws that make it illegal for parents to support their gay children.
- They are passing laws that have citizens turning against citizens.
- They are removing books they don’t like from libraries.
- Our nation’s history makes them uncomfortable so they don’t want the parts about racism taught.
- They don’t like opposition so they’re changing the playing field by passing voting laws that put their Party in charge of the voting process.
- They are passing laws to prohibit the widespread voter suppression that never took place. Laws that make voting more difficult for minorities and the poor.
- They are rewriting history in real time with conspiracy fallacies like the “Big Lie.”
- They venerate statues that glorify traitors to our nation.
- Our free press is called the enemy of the people. In reality truth is their enemy.
- They want Christian prayer in school.
- They oppose minorities protesting like the BLM but support attacking our Capitol.
- They rail against the violence of others while excusing the violence encouraged by the Trump Party.
- They want taxpayers to fund Christian schools while claiming the right not to serve those they disagree with. (Gay people, Muslims, etc.)
- Their Glorious Leader doesn’t want people to say bad things about him and sues those that do. They want to make it easier for the DIC to do that.
- They want to be in charge of what women do with their own bodies but don’t want government to require them to wear a mask or get vaccinated.
- They oppose birth control, sex education and contraception.
- They oppose health care for all. (They never had a plan other than to defeat not fix what we do have. In power they will try again to repeal the Affordable Care Act.))
- They seek to do away with Social Security through privatization.
- They want to cut taxes for the rich and raise taxes on the poor.
- They want to change our Constitution by calling for a Constitutional Convention to make changes that will better reflect THEIR values.
- They threaten Civil War if they don’t get their way.
Not all factions of the Trump Party Putin wing support all the items listed but enough of them support the items that are important to them that they are willing to throw in with the rest. It is a list of suppression and intolerance that they have to support to be loyal to the DIC Party.
Will they achieve their goals?
