Robert’s courts’ SIX Christian White Nationalists.

The end note for the above quote references an excellent article. I was well into this post before I read the article and feel vindicated in my layman’s deductions.

Other conservative Judges have taken issue with rulings from the MAGA Gang of 6 Supremes as well. Retired conservative federal judge Michael Luttig has been critical of Trump, the Republican Party and the Supreme Court.[2] Luttig is the judge that counseled VP Pence to do his job and certify the election. This from Judge Luttig:

"These pleas would never have to occur if the Supreme Court of the United States had reassured America that it sits in order to prevent this kind of tyranny in the United States of America. But as you know, the Supreme Court has done anything but reassure America. That's why, for the first time to my knowledge — in all of American history — the federal judges and also the state judges now have no choice but to speak directly to the American people through their opinions, I must add, rather than speak only to the Supreme Court of the United States."[3]

WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS.

Evil and cruelty are the foundation for all the core beliefs of MAGA. Bigotry. Racism. Misogyny. Ignorance. The white Christian nationalists running Trump’s fascist regime are doing their best to achieve these beliefs by tearing our government apart in order to build their white fascist utopia. Our Alzheimer’s suffering President as court jester provides the perfect cover for their actions.

As just one tiny example of yet another White Nationalist Project 2025 goal being fulfilled, our MAGA government was dismantling 900 ocean data collecting buoys until the Senate voted unanimously to stop the dismantling.[4] [5] [6] [7] The buoys collected ocean data to help track climate change. Their installation cost $368 million and went operational in 2016 during Trump’s first term. The data is critical to research that will help humanity understand and deal with climate change. But MAGAts don’t believe in climate change.

For MAGA knowledge is dangerous and rejected.

ROBERT’S SUPREMES BACK MAGA

First Robert’s Supremes gave Trump immunity. They placed an evil man above the law. Trump has been both out of control and in complete control ever since. He operates without restrictions, and pardons those that do his bidding or give him money when they get in trouble.[8] The DOJ works for Trump, investigating, and charging those Trump wants charged.

The Roberts Supreme Court has made Trump, MAGA, and White Christian nationalists’ fascism possible. They gave MAGA the enabling tools. Under Roberts and the conservative majority, they have ruled consistently in fascism’s favor thereby providing the legal framework for them to achieve their goal. They are creating a different society, a different America, a fascist America and they are getting to see the fruits of their labor in real time. They can watch it on the corporate oligarch news.

But try as he might Justice Clarence Thomas will still never be white enough for the White Christian Nationalists even with his white J6 traitor wife. His whiter-than-white, wealthier-than-wealthy benefactors have been buying his loyalty in the old-fashioned political way for thirty years. They took care of him and did nice things for him like provide expensive vacations to resorts, plane rides on private jets, helicopter rides, expensive tickets to sporting events, cruises on yachts, etc. Thomas didn’t bother to report these gifts.[9]

Billionaire Harlan Crow bought property from Thomas including the house his mom lived in and promptly started renovating it.[10] Thomas didn’t report this either.

Other Justices received the same kinds of largess, but they reported receiving theirs.

Supreme Court Justices aren’t poor. Chief Justice Roberts is worth at least $20 million,[11] while Justice Barrett comes in at a paltry $4 million.[12] Would it surprise you to know that the conservative Justices are worth way more than the liberal Justices? The total combined wealth of the court is in the neighborhood of $65 million. Liberals have less than 20% of that.

Justice Barrett and her husband are members of a small religious sect that believes in speaking in tongues and that homosexuals are sinful. Her husband is a legal counsel for …wait for it… Fox News (Rupert Murdock).

MAGA Supremes have been key in helping Trump undermine We the People’s respect for the courts with their decisions and shadow docket shenanigans. They have made more shadow docket decisions than they have in open court for the first time in history.[13] More often than not the MAGA Supremes Gang of 6 side with Trump.[14] 

Look for that to continue.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

There’s a guy on social media called “the Jolly Ginger.” In a rant the other day he said that the line had been crossed a long time ago about what needs to be done to reject our nation’s slide into fascism.

We do NOT need more violence or civil war. PERIOD. I do not think that is what the Jolly Ginger was/is advocating but I want to make clear my position.

A refrain that I see often from social media influencers is that in order to hold onto our democracy the United States is moving towards a revolution. Never a desirable outcome BUT are they right? The resistance is NOT there yet. I fervently hope that it doesn’t come to that conclusion.

Another constant refrain from influencers like Heather Cox Richardson, a national treasure, is that all of us need to do something even if it is small. Witnessing and writing is what I do.

Do something.

New math

With knowledge comes understanding.

        I finally figured out what’s wrong. The Trump Administration is NOT to blame! They’ve been trying to use new math to figure out the government response and that’s why everything that they’ve done is screwed up. New. Math.

0 to 80 in 60 days.
        From the President that understood the Pandemic from the very beginning and having it completely under control and zero deaths before it disappeared we have a new latest and greatest prediction. Our very-stable-genius-greatest-sir-with-tears-in-our-eyes President adjusted his circlet and came up with yet another new prediction as to the number of deaths. He shooting for somewhere past 100,000 now.
        Well, I see his hundred and raise him fifty. The rates change almost daily now. New data changes models and predictions. And as Trump foretold in 2014 opening up the country too soon will cause “mayhem” or in our case Aughem. If the death rate holds we’ll have a quarter million people dead by the end of August.

But wait!
         Well, granted there wasn’t any mayhem in 2014 nor was there chaos. That epidemic was contained by President Obama just as previous epidemics were contained. They didn’t have the benefit of Sir President Donald J. Trump at their head. They did have his advice. He told them not to open up the country. I will give you that he wasn’t worried about getting elected then.

Saving lives!
        But as it turns out we’ve been looking at this from the wrong angle. On the bright side he’s now saying that we could have lost over two million people so once again he’s doing an incredible job, the best job in history. All of history. Not just part of it. All of it. Whole world of history. We should instead be grateful that he didn’t kill more people.

        He’ll be doing even better when he starts claiming that we could have lost 3 million people. That’s not exactly true. Technically he’s saying that he has already saved millions of live. Could be a couple of million. Could be many millions. Who’s to know? He knows. The greatest President in history. He may have saved the world. He also is the President with better ratings than President Abraham Lincoln. Hands down better ratings. He is the undisputed ratings winner.

        Obviously the Trump Administration has realized that the scientists are right and more people will die because they opened things up before they were even close to being ready. So they’re going to change the messaging from how many people they’ve killed to how many people that they’ve saved instead. It’s easier to make up those numbers. Don’t take responsibility for the additional deaths they’ve caused but rather take credit for the mythical lives saved. If you’re alive he has saved you. Lucky you.

Hodge podge.
        This is what happens when the national governing body is broken. This is what happens when you break every department of government and replace competent professionals with food-licking lackeys that haven’t the slightest idea of what they’re supposed to do and whose actual job it is to break the department.
        In a pandemic a coordinated national response is crucial. Leadership is needed. Not a self-aggrandizing King granting boons to those that have his favor. Each state responding differently has proven to be a recipe for disaster that we are watching unfold in real time.
        Now the price is being paid for in additional lives lost. The majority of lives lost will be seniors and people of color but additional people of every age are being lost as well. That’s just this time around. What will the next one be like? How will the incompetents respond next time? We know how.

They’ll blame others.
        IDK, does killing tens of thousands of additional people due to inaction rise to the level of being a mass murderer or is it just manslaughter on a grand scale? At least it’s comforting to know that no one is sadder than President Trump is over this. (Yes he really said that.) That’s why he brags about being so popular and is constantly telling people what a great job he’s doing. It’s because he’s so sad.

    He’s the saddest President in history.
