Do like the title says[1]
Not wanting to be a downer here but we really don’t have time to wait for the 2026 elections assuming that we still have elections by then. I’m serious.
What can you do to fight against fascism?
The easy answer is to do what you can.
What might that be?
· You can use social media. My health isn’t all that great so I write and post these missives on social media. I interact with people.
· We’re Independents but contribute the small amounts that we can to various Democratic candidates. Or at least did until Schumer folded. Now we only contribute to a couple of Democratic Progressives that we know fight back with actions as well as words.
· I write letters to MAGA Red State Republicans and officials as well as Democrats. Letters matter. And I keep copies.
· You can call people on the telephone. Most people carry a phone around these days so how easy does it have to be! Flood their zone!
· Boycotts work. You can boycott businesses and products.
· You can march in the streets! Yes, you can. If there’s a rally being held that you can make it to GO! I’m going to give it a shot. I’ve seen people attend rallies walking with canes, crutches and in wheelchairs’
When I was in a union we went on strike and rallies were called. I once helped distribute 4,000 handbills for a rally. Eight people showed up. The next day union people told me “Hey not very many people showed up.” They knew that because they stayed home and sat on their ass watching it on television and wringing their hands because no one showed up. So, if you can SHOW UP. MAGA is watching.

The whole purpose of MAGA “flooding the zone” is to take over government control before elections ever get here. Every government entity will quickly become unreliable as a source of credible information. Every spokesperson for the government becomes a mouthpiece for the Führer Trump.
By 2026 the government run election machines at the Federal and MAGA Republican Red States level will be nothing more than rubber stamp for MAGA. MAGA Red State fascists increased voter suppression activities after the 2020 elections. While some of their proposed changes failed, many succeeded.[2]
Just like what is happening at the Pentagon with our military, minorities (People of Color) and women are being scrubbed from the information provided to the public. The woman Commandant of the Coast Guard and a Black General were among the first to be removed. Now that’s trickling down to the lower levels. The military is once again being segregated.
The Department of Education is being gutted and a white-people-are-supreme education is being delivered. Talk about race, diversity, equity, and inclusion and funds get pulled and teachers get fired. That’s why books were banned.
Talk bad about the Führer Trump and you get sued or get disappeared.
