State of denial.
We do have a 51st state already. Welcome Trumpers to your great 51st State of denial!
A common refrain from disenchanted MAGA voters is, “I didn’t vote for this!”
Trump told them repeatedly several times a day the things that he wanted to do and was going to do. MAGA cheered his agenda. They love his agenda. They voted for his agenda thinking that his hateful actions would happen to others. NOT to them. They are MAGA! They chose to believe the ridiculous lies TRUMP told and things he said. They had an excuse for his every questionable disgusting crazy action. They believed their Dear Leader Führer, thinking that they were safe.
Some of them weren’t.
MAGA made their choice.
In order to make the claim that they didn’t know what they were voting for, Trumpers have to ignore all the information that was available from legitimate sources. They chose to ignore all the people that worked for the Trump Administration saying that the man was a horrible President. They either chose NOT to believe or didn’t care. Instead they chose to suspend reality and believe all the Trump propaganda outlets. What they didn’t like they called FAKE. They chose to ignore his mishandling of the plague that cost an additional couple of hundred thousand lives in America. They chose to ignore all of Trump’s lies.
But most of all they chose to ignore the man himself, his petty vindictive nature, lack of character, and history of no one loving him as much as he loves himself and money. It’s always all about money for him and how he can profit personally.
The MAGA cult want People of Color put in detention camps, families separated, and deported. Even MAGA men and women who are married to immigrants, including legal immigrants. They chose to make themselves a part of the action by voting for their MAGA Führer Trump.
And then some of them got to take the punishment that they thought was intended for others. Their immigrant spouses got put in detention centers. Their own family members got grabbed up. Their Medicare and Medicaid are being threatened. Their freedoms are being curtailed and not just the freedom of others. They got laid off. MAGA Veterans and law enforcement got laid off. Tens of thousand more are getting laid off in industries affected by Trump’s Tarriff Trade War against our allies. Contracts are being canceled. MAGA 401Ks are being affected just like everyone else’s as the stock market tanks. Their cost of living is going up. They’re paying more. Their pocketbooks are being pinched.
MAGA laughed at the misery of others.
Then the misery became theirs.
