MAGA goes mental.
Lock ‘em up!

You can’t make this stuff up.
And who would want to?
In their continuing efforts to deal with the economy MAGA Red Hat Republicans at the state level have introduced legislation to define people that write about their opposition to Trump as being mentally ill and suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).[1] Not kidding. Honestly, the first time that I heard of TDS I thought that the term applied to MAGA because of their slobbering blind loyal adulation for an idiot that made President and rejection of reality.[2] (Would that sentence qualify me as having it?) The jury may still be out on this term.
Do you know who else puts dissidents in mental hospitals? Did you guess Russia? If you did, you’d be right. They have done it for decades.[3]
This reminds me of when Red States were running around passing legislation to outlaw sharia law from being imposed in the United States when it wasn’t happening anywhere in the United States.[4] It’s like when they pass legislation to combat non-existent voter fraud when their main intention is to suppress voting from those they consider to be undesirable because they vote for Democrats.[5]
Anyway, what’s the big deal? The deal is that if they can succeed in doing this all that they have to do is find doctors that will go along with them and they can grab up Trump opposition claiming that they have a mental illness. In other words they want to be able to put psychiatric holds on their vocal enemies and lock them up for being anti-fascist. MAGA considers being anti-fascist a mental illness.
MAGA Red Hats are wanting to use and control every aspect of society to their own ends.
This is some real fascist bullshit.
