I can answer that! I can answer that! It’s because Trump keeps confessing on national television that he committed the crimes that he’s accused of committing.[2]

Back in the day when I was in the Army I had a Top Secret with Crypto access security clearance. I was also cleared for Top Secret NATO access when I was in Germany. I’ve talked about this before. We had classified information where even the title was classified. We couldn’t even mention the name without violating security.
There was a guiding principle called “Need to Know” that we followed as well. In other words, I didn’t have access to all Top Secret material, only the material that I needed in order to do my job. It can get a little tricky. Once my section put a map up and noted various hostile and friendly sites that were scattered around the countryside along with some other information. Nothing that we put up was classified Secret but in aggregate ALL the information made the map a Secret document that had to be logged and controlled as to who had access including our allies. We kept secrets from them as well.
Classified information is serious business.
What about Hillary?!
Hm, let me see. Trump pleads not guilty to stealing classified documents and then immediately goes on national television and admits to committing the crimes. The man is a genius and no doubt that was a clever ploy to lure Special Counsel Jack Smith into a false sense of security in what looks like an open and shut case what with him repeatedly confessing and all. It isn’t too hard to see why Trump is having a hard time getting top drawer lawyers.
Trump intentionally STOLE classified material. Trump was NOT indicted for any of the classified material that he returned. Trump was indicted for what he refused to return, hid, tried to cover up and subsequently casually shared with other people. He did all this against the advice of some of his own attorneys.
And he got his own loyal body man Walt Nauta involved and charged as well. With Trump loyalty is a one-way street. Nauta is going to learn that the hard way. When he sees the ketchup on the wall he may flip before Trump throws him under the bus for being the true mastermind behind the clever ruse they played on the country. Nauta lied when questioned about the classified documents.
What about classified documents being found in President Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Pence’s stuff? Why aren’t they being charged? #1, they didn’t willfully take the documents. #2, they all COOPERATED. #3, none of the documents came close to the quantity and quality that Trump stole. #4, they didn’t try to hide things from the FBI. #5, they didn’t lie about having them. #6, none of them willingly shared the classified information with other people.
World of difference.
