(2.5-minute read)

Incredible journey

What an incredible journey Cole Brauer took AND succeeded![1]  At the ripe old age of 29 she’s the first woman from the United States to sail solo nonstop around the world.  It was a 30,000 mile journey for her.  I wrote about it in this post.

Poor Trump

The rapist Trump posted a bond in the E. Jean Carol rape case.  The Federal Insurance Company (Chubb) is covering the $93 million not Trump.[2]  The company is not the federal government.[3]  The company is owned by ACE Limited.  Chubb was mentioned in the Trump fraud trial concerning an appraisal.[4]  Word on the street is that Musk co-signed the bond since Trump’s properties aren’t clear of debt.  But really, who did cosign?  Was it a Russian?

The bond in the Letitia James case totals almost half a billion dollars.  In the past Trump has claimed that he is a multi-billionaire.  His lawyer Alina Habba has said that he would have no problem posting a bond for that much money because he’s a billionaire.[5]

MAGA people bounty

The Arizona state House passed a bill making it legal for ranchers to kill immigrants trespassing on their land.[6]  For being a supposedly pro-life crowd of Christians MAGA likes to talk about killing people a lot.

Missouri targets teachers

Missouri Republicans have introduced a bill that will have teachers guilty of committing a felony and being put on a sex offenders list if they help a trans youth in any fashion.  Meaning just talking to a trans youth in a positive manner could land them in jail and fined.[7]

More 737 trouble.

Meanwhile a Boeing 737 had problems with its rudder when landing.  Rudder controls quit working.  The pilot was able to steer with the nose wheel to a high-speed turnoff and finally got rudder control again.  At least the rudder stayed on the plane.  Another 737 had an engine catch fire.[8]  Everybody made it home safely.

Trump loses in England

Trump sued Orbis Business Intelligence, a consultancy firm in England, over the Steele dossier that they comprised.[9]  Steele is the founder the company.  Trump lost.  The court ordered him to pay Orbis £300,000 until the total costs are decided by a specialist judge.  That’s close to $400,000 American.  Trump is so talented that he’s losing in other countries.  BTW I never know whether to use England, Britain or the United Kingdom.

Not so poor Trump

Trump is on track to receive a $3 billion windfall in a merger between Trump Media and Technology Group and Digital World Acquisition Group.[10]
