            Owens was mocking the virus as being oversold and comparing Covid 19 to the flu was popular amongst conservatives.

            Have you seen the drone footage from India showing the mass open air cremation of bodies because too many died too quickly? It’s incredible and overwhelming. Their hospitals ran out of oxygen. Their health care system collapsed.

             In Bolivia the nation’s hospital and health care system also has collapsed.

            Venezuela’s is in the process of crashing if it hasn’t already.

            Mass burials are taking place in other countries as well. Mortuaries and crematoriums are overwhelmed.

            This is what the pro-plague Republicans and Evangelicals sought for this nation.

            From the very beginning of the pandemic the Republican policy of denial has thwarted efforts to lessen the damage caused by the plague. The plagues success in killing hundreds of thousands of people needlessly in this country is their victory.

Never forget.

            America should never forget the hundreds of thousands of needless pandemic deaths caused by Ex-President Trump, the Republican Party, Republicans, Evangelicals, anti-vaxers, Proud Boys, White Nationalists, Alt-Right, Confederates, the KKK, Nazis, Q-anon and MAGAT Heads. Never. The list isn’t complete. There are simply too many hate groups that supported Trump’s Administration of traitors to cover them all. With this many names the individual groups get lost in the swill. This is Trump’s hardcore base. The voice of normal Republicans has been lost in the storm along with their party.

            We should never forget all the super spreading events that they hosted and supported.

            We should also never forget that in the midst of this pandemic that Republicans attempted to overthrow our government and way of life. We should never forget that they are the ones that ended a 220 year history of having a peaceful transition of power by attacking our Capitol like animals.

            And now their “Chosen One” with 600,000 dead Americans lost to the plague was in Mar a Lago drinking Diet Coke, golfing with his rich friends and doing what he does best—complaining about how he was treated. Then he moved to New Jersey where he can drink Diet Coke, watch TV and complain about how he was treated.

He dines. He whines.

Their agenda continues.

            Now they oppose vaccines; the very vaccines that would bring about the herd immunity that they claimed in the beginning as being what they wanted. Yet they want their tribal Chief credited with the vaccine that they refuse to take.

            Their excuses for not taking the vaccine are as plentiful as all the fanciful conspiracies that they spread. Their right wing news sources support their unshakable beliefs of false information.

            Their resistance to vaccinating is tribal. No science. No concern for others. They just act on the primitive urges that they ascribe to people of color living in, as described by their tribe’s leader, “shit hole” countries. Witch doctors are their advisors. Their conspiracy theories are fueled by their voodoo priests of disinformation. They are willing to believe any witches brew concoction of lies. Gullibility is their shield of deniability and taking any responsibility.

            Even when their fellow tribe members die from Covid 19 they claim that something else killed them. Primitive beliefs define their knowledge and understanding as they profess fealty to their Tribal Leader.

            They still want more dead people or they would be encouraging people to vaccinate. Chief Trump got the vaccine for himself and his family just like he got state of the art medical treatment when he caught Covid 19.

            Trump hasn’t shown leadership for the greater good in defeat either. He is still consumed with acting on his grudges and being the first dictator of the United States. He isn’t going to bother with telling his tribal followers to vaccinate. He needs their ignorance, sacrifice and money to fund his next coup attempt. The pauper billionaire.

        Donald Jenius Trump made the above comments on January 6, 2021, among others, after being the President of the nation for 4 years. “We the People” agreed with his statement on November 3^rd, 2020 and declined to grant him a second term.

        After he said that his merry band of MAGATrump Head seditionists stormed the Capitol in attempt to overthrow our government. Republican politicians supported his attempt. They supported his attempted coup leading up to the trashing of our Capitol ending a 240 year run of our Republic having a peaceful transfer of power. They attempted to make us like Myanmar.

They failed.

He failed.

        And now we have more fencing, surrounding the Capitol to defend people from the mob of thugs that would bring it down. Some of the very same armed militia types that assaulted state capitols around the country at Trump’s request sewing fear. Widespread fear. Fear founded in lies. The chaos of lies.

        Fear this. Fear that. Fear the Muslims. Fear the brown people. Fear the socialists. Fear the LGBTQ. Fear the border. Fear equality. Fear the non-Christian. Fear minorities voting. Fear the poor. Fear the vote of the people. Fear science. Fear masks. Fear vaccines. Fear helping others.

        The Trump conspiracy-driven incompetent clique ended as it began and was throughout their four year run—in chaos. The chaos of a fortunately bungled coup attempt of people calling themselves patriots as they tried to overturn the results of a legitimate election and overthrow our government by harming Republicans, Democrats and Independents.

Easy Answer.

        How did a person like Representative Greene get elected? That same question could be asked about Boebert, Hawley, Cruz, Ghomert, Cotton, Jordan, Gaetz, McConnell, Graham, McCarthy and all of the other unindicted co-conspirators and enablers. There’s an easy answer. They were elected and supported by people just like them. People that believe just like them and act like them.

        That was the jenius of Donald Jenius Trump. He understood MAGAT Heads completely when he said that he could shoot someone on 5^th Avenue and they would still vote for him. Would vote for a cold-blooded murderer. And vote for a cold-blooded murderer they did. To the tune of 74 million this time.

        A murderer that caused hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths hard lined straight to him and all of his enablers from allies like the Kurds that he turned his back on to our nation’s citizens. Ultimately he killed too many with his incompetence and inability to learn. That contributed to his loss.         They still support him. They still support his coup.

They are Trump.

Aftermath

        Republicans have been successful in making America an armed camp from top to bottom at least for a few days. Troops in a walled off capitol made necessary to protect the transfer of power from their armed mob of MAGAT insurrectionists still intent on overruling the will of the majority of people to satisfy their desire for a fascist nation with their kind of white people in charge.

        What’s the answer? What do we need?

More guns!

More walls!

More security!

        The Republican answer is always that more guns are needed. A nation that is awash in guns needs more guns. More guns are needed on the streets, homes, schools and at the Capitol to protect us! More fencing! Security checkpoints! More riot shields. More bullet proof vests. More barbed wire!

Loyalty is a one way street

        Who pays for all of the above? All the troops called in? All the damage that was done to the Capitol? All the legal expense of dealing with traitors now and in the future? All the ongoing extra security needed?

We the taxpayers!

        The cost so far from Trump’s attempt to overturn the legitimate vote that he lost, is a half billion dollars. That’s on the low side. All the costs have yet to be added up. What’s more, the costs will be ongoing. And they will only be able to charge a fraction of the thousands the people that should be charged for their treason.

        The majority of rubes that Trump et al got to do his dirty work won’t be charged. There are too many and all the cases of those that should be charged would clog up our courts. Trump could have pardoned all of them en masse like President Carter pardoned all the draft dodgers. Trump didn’t.

        Loyalty is a one way street for the fraidy leader that did not even walk with the insurgents like he said he would. He could have walked at the front and led them.

        He could have walked right in to the Capitol, past the barricades and guards. He could have led the “troops.” Who would have stopped him?

        Who should really pay? How about….

            Trump is beating Obama again. Bad.

            This < link > is to a list of the number of lobbyists appointed by President Trump. 281 in all. He has appointed 4 times more lobbyists than Obama. They are listed by name, where they are working or have worked in the administration and who they were a lobbyist for.

            Trump beat Obama and his golf game in numbers. He’s spent 245 days golfing whereas Obama spent 306. Okay, I know you might be saying that it doesn’t look like Trump beat Obama in golf days but it took Obama 8 years for his number. Trump did it in less than 4! Trump for the win!

What year is this?

            I ask what year it is because Trump seems to think that it’s 2016. I watched a rally where he talked about throwing Hillary in jail again. (He was just kidding about that. Sure.) And he’s campaigning on providing better health care. I think that he knows its 2020 sometimes, because he does drift back to Biden in some kind of alternate universe where he’s guilty of having a kid making money like Trump’s older effluent. And too, because he no longer talks about how easy it will be to get Mexico to pay for the wall.

            If there was an Olympics in job turnovers, Trump would definitely be a contender. He may be a contender already. He does claim awards that don’t exist. He has the fake pictures to prove it.

            Trump has also beaten Obama in administrative turnover. He has had a higher turnover than any President in history! One of his appointees only lasted hours, some only a matter of days. Trump has also beaten Obama in corruption. His administration has had way more guilty pleas than Obama’s. In the interests of full disclosure Obama wasn’t hard to beat in this category since he had zero indictments of people working for him. Trump appoints people with vested interests in making their departments fail so that they can personally gain.

            Trump’s cronies have made billions thanks to him and the Senate Jesters.

            The man of the people has a cabinet is full of millionaires and even has a billionaire.

            Trump donates his salary and taxpayers have spent over $100 million dollars for his golfing trips at his properties. That’s, what, a couple of hundred years’ worth of salaries. His properties have raked in tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer money.

            His family and friends have raked in hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers that will have to be paid back by …. well …. taxpayers. That isn’t counting the trillion dollars plus in tax breaks for the elite.

            They have taken care of business all right.

            He did say that he would only appoint the best people. Remember that? A lot of swamp denizens seem to have forgotten that. In that regard 19 of his high value former appointees are saying that people shouldn’t vote for him including some of his best generals except for the one that he pardoned. Even a couple of his family members have said that people shouldn’t vote for him.

            I know. I know. They are disgruntled employees that found out that they were working for a malignant psychopath and are taking it out on the rest of us.

            Let me see, oh yes, Trump has also beaten Obama in the number of deaths due to a pandemic. 205,000 and he isn’t done. Another Trump success story! He’s hands down a better killer than Obama.

Victory! We beat China!

VICTORY! The United States with a population of 328 million has beaten China with a population of 1.4 billion in the number of COVID-19 cases! AND we did it with inadequate testing!

I was telling people last week that we would know by the end of this week how things were going to go. Well, now we know. Yesterday’s news was not good. Beating China in the number of COVID-19 cases was not the place that we wanted to be in. We pulled it off though. Unchecked that figure will double. DOUBLE!

What can individuals do?

Ω Try not to get it.

Ω Try not to spread it.

Back in the day

Remember when the AIDs epidemic hit. That’s when health professionals started telling people to have safe sex. In essence they said that if a person had unprotected sex with someone then they were having sex with every person that person had had sex with. In other words if that person had been infected by anyone they had sex with then they would not only catch it but spread it as well. The more sex partners that a person had the riskier the situation they were placing themselves in. People had AIDs and didn’t know that they had it. That’s how it was spreading. With me so far?

Let’s get back to that foursome title. Let’s say four people decide to hit the links. They’re from 4 different groups of associations. When they get together they’re all in essence meeting everyone that the others in their foursome have associated with in the last two weeks. Were any of the people in any of these groups of associations infected with the coronavirus? The risk of exposure goes up dramatically especially when you consider that people without symptoms can transmit the virus.

The lets say that the foursome decides to support their local restaurant and goes to get some takeout. The person that they come into contact with at the delivery point is now placed at risk. Did all the involved parties use their best practices for preventing transmission of COVID-19? I seriously doubt it. Why? Because if they had a brain in their head they wouldn’t have been golfing in the first place! And it isn’t just themselves that they put at risk. It’s everybody that they come into contact with. Their friends. Their loved ones.

So are we supporting local business if we put their lives at risk just so we can have takeout?

“I’ll have a burger, fries and a coke and here’s a little COVID-19 for you along with the tip.”

Some risks can’t be avoided. We actually do need food to get through this. That’s why grocery stores are allowed to remain open. Fired departments. Police departments. Hospitals. Utilities. Transportation (Nurses and doctors have to get to work.). You know—ESSENTIAL! NOT GOLF!

May God bless and hold all of these people in grace. They are truly incredible.

Why do I keep mentioning golf? Where we live golf made the cut as being essential. Fucking golf. This is how you tell whether people are taking a pandemic seriously or not. Sadly, It’s way past time to get serious.

People saying that going back to work will save the economy are quite simply wrong. That train has left the station. That boat has sailed away. That plane has left the runway. That horse has left the barn. Well, you get the picture.

First and foremost the country just took on at least 2 trillion in debt. This is on top of the trillion and a half that was given to rich people. Now add all the income that’s already been lost and will be lost. If you’re so inclined even add all of the lost profit and lost sales of goods and services. Toilet paper sales are going to be flat for at least a year. The economy? It’s over. Can’t be saved.

What can be saved?

Here’s a radical idea.
