 White Trash President

7/12/2026TRUMP UPGRADES WHITE TRASH

Trump has made being white trash more exclusive by elevating it to the realm of the obscenely wealthy.

Trump’s job whether he knows it or not is to simply, emphasis on simply, serve as a distraction for the people that are actually taking government apart to remake our nation a white Christian nationalist dictatorship of the white men, by the white men, and for the white men to make the nation racist again.

Trump is perfect for the role.

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS RICH WHITE TRASH

The pics and memes showing what Trump has done to the White House and surrounding area are all too accurate.

Trump is wealthy white trash, and he trashed the White House just in time for America’s 250th birthday party. So far the majority of what he has spent our tax dollars on has either turned to shit and/or lined the pockets of his fellow grifters.

All of Trump’s wives, including Melania, were acquisitions. He dumped the first two, replacing them with younger, shinier models. It’s pretty clear that Melania can’t stand him now. Could she ever? After all, she’s second fiddle to his daughter Ivanka as well as his many groupies. Trump was her immigrant ticket to leave the party girl escort trade. She steps forward as First Lady when there’s money to be made, crimes to distance herself from, get some media spotlight time, or fulfill some prenuptial marriage contract obligation.

White Trash Accomplishments:

  • Trump rubbleized the East Wing of the White House. The East Wing is where the First Lady’s staff worked out of so no big deal there. She avoids Trump as much as possible anyway. Separate bedrooms and all that.
  • Because Trump likes shiny things he stuck gold colored bric-a-brac wherever possible because that’s his idea of what richy-rich people should like.
  • Trump paints his face the color of bronze. It may not be gold, but it is shiny.
  • Trump paved over the Rose Garden. It is no more.
  • Then he held a cage match fight on the front lawn for some of his star racists.
  • One of the best comments that I heard was that all that the White House needs to complete the look is a Buick up on blocks in the front yard.
  • The façade of the Kennedy Center has tarps draped over it because a Judge ruled against Trump adding his name to it at the top and made him remove his name.
  • Now Trump has hung tarps from the front of the White House. He’s big on tarps and cover-ups. I can’t help but wonder at this point if he’ll have a tarp put over the jet that Qatar unloaded as a “gift/bribe” that he has already spent a few hundred million tax dollars on refurbishing and can’t fly because it doesn’t have the defensive measures that the real Air Force Ones have.[1]
  • Trump fucked up the reflecting pool. He surrounded it with fencing to keep everybody away from the green slime that he’s protecting. Just in time for the July 4th celebration.
  • His entire ‘Great American State Fair’ was a disaster from beginning to end. The one carney ride, the Ferris Wheel, kept breaking down. Food prices were exorbitant. A traditional turkey leg cost … drum roll … $23.[2] People didn’t have anywhere to sit in the blistering heat. No shade anywhere. Attendance was sparse.

Because Trump believes bigger is better, he had 850,000 fireworks set off.[3] There was so much smoke and debris it looked like a massive explosion was taking place and obscured the view. Washington DC had smog the next day and an air quality alert for having the worst air of any city on the planet![4] Breathing the air was deemed risky for those with health problems.

There are lists aplenty on the internet of all that the Trump administration has screwed up. We won’t get a true accounting until after MAGA loses control. Regardless, this is what Trump calls …

WINNING!

TRUMP’S A WHITE TRASH BAG MAN.

Redefining is popular these days. Just witness the Robert’s MAGA Supreme Court as they use the power of the court redefine a whiter America for Trump. Let’s do some redefining about who passes for white trash these days.

So, what does being white trash mean?

Over the years it has meant different things to different people.

At one point it meant the working-class poor and was intended as an insult. It’s still an insult but who is being insulted? Poor people? Immoral poor people?

For a while the sobriquet ‘white trash’ was used to denote immoral lay-a-bout no good thieving poor from the hard-working poor. There is a certain class of people in this country that have always looked down on the less fortunate.

Now-a-days the class is comprised of White Christian Nationalists and when it comes to looking down their white supremacists’ noses at anyone that isn’t a part of their exclusive club.

Now, thanks to Trump any economic class or person can now be white trash.

Trump may be a billionaire born with a silver spoon in his mouth but as President he’s a bag man[5] for oligarchs, friends, and family.

Additionally, Trump is a dim, uneducated know-it-all, anti-science, crass, vulgar, immoral, tasteless, undiscerning, incompetent, lazy, philandering, misogynist, doddering, smelly, bigoted, pedophile President who has to be led around at times because he doesn’t know where he is.

Racists, bigots, homophobes qualify as white trash because they serve our white trash fascist President of chaos as he destroys our democracy.

My first wife knew poverty. She could remember when all they had to eat in the house was crackers. Her entire family had known poverty for generations.

Her dad’s parents were so Arkansas poor that he had to wear a dress to school because his pants couldn’t be mended anymore and his parents couldn’t afford to buy him a pair of pants. That was one of the many faces of poverty. They all did better.

That depth of poverty is still bountiful in the Ozarks.

They vote to keep the heel of the boot on their necks.

Lifestyles of the poor and anonymous.

Poverty

What does it mean to be living in poverty?

What is the poverty line; that line that differentiates between living in poverty and just being poor?

Well the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) for 2020 for a family of 2 is $17,240. For a family of 4 it’s $20,200.

In 2000 there was a low of 31.5 million after a 7 year drop from a high of 39 million in 1993. In 1990 there were over 33 million below the poverty line. (Add another 20 million give or take a few above this line to those that are just “poor” in any given year.)

As best I can determine from ALL of the various information available the number of people living in poverty had been dropping since 2014. There were approximately 46.6 million people living in poverty then. That run is over.

For the last 30 years we’ve had at least 31 million people living in poverty on a yearly basis. 31,000,000. That’s the number of people living below the FPL. The number of people at the FPL in 2019 was just shy of 34 million.

These aren’t small numbers.

Crackers

None of this really addresses the question that this started off with though. What does it mean to be living in poverty? Again we’re talking about poverty not about being poor (low income).

I’ve been poor both as an adult and as a child but we always had food to eat. We were never impoverished. Not poor now though. Caught some breaks unlike so many others and made it to a comfortable retirement. (Union wages and benefits.)

My first wife remembered growing up when the only food that they had in the house to eat was crackers. Her Dad growing up had to wear a dress to school for a time because that was all the clothes his parents had and his pants were worn completely out. They literally couldn’t afford to buy clothes.

That was poverty.

Then there’s homeless poverty. Not just individuals either but entire families. There’s poverty that spans generations; one hopeless generation followed by another. Year in. Year out. No way out. There’s inner city poverty. There’s geographical poverty like what exists in the Appalachia region.

Who are these people? Do you see them in your day to day life? Are they waiting on you? Are they serving your food? Are they working to bring your food to the table? Are they cleaning? Are they working the hard physical labor jobs at the bottom? Are they working in meat packing plants, driving cabs, cooking food, waiting tables, picking crops, cleaning rooms? Yes is the answer. All these and more. They also populate the medical field.

Poverty

It doesn’t make any difference whether Republicans or Democrats are in charge. The numbers may go up a little or down a little but things stay the same for tens of millions living in poverty and tens of millions more that are poor. It’s little wonder that many or most of them don’t vote. Why should they participate in a process that makes no difference in their lives?

I stayed away for the most part about the state of poverty in 2020. We have a few million additions to the ranks of the poor and desperate because of the pandemic. Millions who have had their lives destroyed for all practical purposes. How do they build back to subsistence living? What happens when there’s nothing left to lose?

Capitalism has failed

Thirty million people living in poverty decade after decade is not a success story for the current oldest Constitutional democracy. It doesn’t speak well for our system of government or the two main parties.

The rich, however, have done great under this system. They have done it on the backs of the poor and the shrinking middle class. The poor do the grunt work of society. They handle the ugly stuff, the work that others don’t want to stoop to do. They will accept desperation wages. They are what have been known as “essential workers” during the pandemic.

What does it mean to be living in poverty during a pandemic?

They will die in greater numbers.
