New Standards
The second hearing of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol provided more insight as to how purposeful the planning for a coup to overturn the results of the vote was and how many Trump Republicans were involved and are still trying to cover it up with their denials. (That was one long sentence.) The people that have and are still testifying before the committee were the people in Trump’s administration that were present when the coup attempt was going down. Yet they remained silent at the time. Before he resigned, Attorney General Barr was still covering for Trump in public and Barr knew the truth of the vote. The vote was legit.
There was no widespread fraud.
Only the best
When campaigning for President the first time Trump said that he would only appoint the best people to his administration, the best cabinet, the best generals, etc. After he became President, he had one of the highest rates of turnover of any administration.
His appointees did not always leave under the best of circumstances. Men and women that he had praised when appointing he heaped insults upon as they left, if they wavered in their fealty to him. They immediately became losers
People that he appointed and that were hired by his administration have testified before the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol. The damning evidence/information is coming from his own staff, his employees, his lawyers, his advisors, his campaign manager, his consultants, and his own family, including his daughter. The Vice President along with his staff also provided testimony. Capitol Police have testified. Video evidence is being provided. Recorded conversations. Notes. Documents. He was told repeatedly that he had lost and that there was no widespread voter fraud. Trump lost. The lies of the Trump Republican Party have been and are being laid bare for the world to see.
We are seeing the worst of the best.
Day in Court.
Attorney General Barr made some salient comments during his testimony in regard to all the conspiracy theories and crazy allegations of voter fraud that were being made at the time and since. He said that it was like playing the Whack a Mole. One crazy story would be debunked only to have another pop up. Yet they were investigated, one after another.
Trump had his days in court. No credible evidence was ever produced or provided to the myriad courts involved including the Supreme Court of the United States. ZERO evidence. The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol has debunked them yet again. Yet Trump Republicans are winning primaries based upon their support of the “Big Lie.”

Their Putin
I was talking with a conservative friend about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He was incredulous as to how it was possible given the weight of all the evidence as to what was taking place for the Russian people to believe Putin. Yet he believes the Big Lie. He believes Trump won and that there was widespread fraud. This is how men like Putin and Trump are made possible.
Thirty million people will not believe the findings of Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol and that Trump along with his supporters staged a coup. Tens of thousands of Republican elected officials at the local and state level are going along with the Big Lie as well and will do whatever Trump, their Putin, asks. Trump wants to be President for life.
His cult wants whatever he wants.
