To MAGA or not to MAGA
What a fascinating time to be living in!
The Supreme Court of the United States of America could decide if a former President can be held accountable for crimes that he committed while in office.[1] Trump, aka the Orange Jesus, through a campaign announcement, opposes the action,[2] claiming that he had and continues to have Presidential immunity. The Supreme Court responded the same day of the filing by Special Counsel Jack Smith that they wanted Trump’s legal representation to file briefs by the end of the day on December 20 as to whether or not they should hear the case.
It’s a 6/3 conservative court. Trump appointed 3 of the conservative members. Will they recuse themselves from making any decisions concerning Trump? If the Supremes decide to hear the case what decision a court full of millionaires will reach about a billionaire that has consistently thumbed his nose at the courts and our system of government is anybody’s guess. That’s the question du jour. I think that Trump probably has a lock on a couple of votes already.

Will the Orange Jesus stay true to form and start attacking and threatening the Supremes, their staffs and families?[3] It isn’t like he hasn’t complained about them before.[4] [5] I don’t think that he can help himself. However, we should have a few quiet days before the fireworks start.
Nah, I don’t think so either.
Why would Trump oppose the Supremes deciding whether or not he has immunity from being tried? His lawyers appealed the ruling of J6 Judge Tanya Chutkan where she said that he didn’t have immunity from prosecution. You’d think that he would want his claim validated unless his appeal was just to delay the trial. His trial would be over if the courts ruled that he had immunity. Then Orange Jesus would be back on his fast track to be our first nation’s first Dictator for life. Okay, I know that Trump said he would only be a dictator for one day.[6]
