Just talk 240425

            Thanks for dropping by.

I try to keep in mind that our time here on earth is finite.  Wherever you are, wherever you live, whatever space you’re occupying at any given moment is temporary.  The time we have is all the time we’ll have.  That’s it.  No do overs.

For any new readers I want to pass along why I write this blog in a little more detail.  I write because I enjoy writing.  I have no target audience nor am I trying to change anyone’s mind.  I have no schedule for when I post.  It’s just my perspective on things because I believe that it’s important to talk about what is going on in the world.  I’m a retired factory worker that made it to retirement.  I am fortunate in that regard.  So many don’t.

It’s important that evil is challenged and there’s a LOT of evil walking the earth.  Mine is just one small voice.

My understanding of the internet and computers is limited.  It took me a loooong time just to figure out how to use Blogspot.  You’ll notice that in my early posts.  Is blogging still a thing or is it old school now?  People like sound bites and memes.  They seem to fit the attention span of modern society.  At least that’s the direction that social media conditioning seems to be directing us.

Social media turned out to be decidedly unsocial.  Knowing what the truth is gets more difficult with each passing day.  Now we have AI in the mix along with all the bad actors there have always been.  Reality is altered to suit whatever messaging the architect wants to deliver.  Knowing who or what to trust becomes more difficult with each passing day.

I strive to be accurate with what I’m writing, using a variety of fact-checking sites.  The problem that we currently have in the United States of America is that there is so much crazy outrageous stuff happening that on the face of it something outrageous seems too implausible to be real yet turns out in fact to be true.

The biggest shocker to me in all that has and is taking place is that we have 70 million or so MAGA citizens that don’t believe in our form of government.  Then throw in another 80 million or more that don’t care enough one way or another about our democracy.[i]  Not a ringing endorsement.

Google analytics provides statistics for traffic to my blog.  It’s waaaayyyy too much information for me to make sense of or understand.  I have a mediocre grasp of some of the basics.  One thing is a puzzle.  The readouts currently show a couple hundred views a day from China and Hong Kong with the vast majority coming from Hong Kong.    There’s a problem with that.  The website Blogspot is banned in China.  The average Chinese citizen doesn’t have access.  I understand that people can use VPNs to spoof their location but China seems like an odd choice since it’s banned.  I can’t imagine people taking that kind of risk for a retired factory worker’s blog.

Zero information is provided by Google about the identity of individual users.

Other countries show up on a regular basis.  Ireland.  France.  Sweden.  New Zealand.  Singapore.  South Korea.  There are occasional one-offs.  Somebody accidentally wanders in.

At first I thought that somebody was just downloading my posts or that my blog was being cloned since a post is only being looked at for a few seconds.  But why do that over and over?  So far, I’ve made 452 posts.  It seems that more than one person is doing it unless it’s just bots doing their bot thing.  I’ve probably provided enough information to show my limited grasp of the internet.

Anyway, to those that actually read my posts I hope that you have found them interesting or of some value.  Share them if you think that they’re worthy enough.

Peace be with you.

Fluffers for Sleepy Don Snoreleone

Did you know that The Trump has a fluffer?  I did not know this.

I had to look that up.  My safe search was turned off.  I’ll just leave it at that.  Here’s the definition from Wiktionary, Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License.[1]

Noun, Agent noun of fluff; one who fluffs.

Noun, Hollywood, pornography, A person who performs fellatio on a male actor immediately before the recording of a pornographic scene.

Noun, UK One who is employed to clean the tracks in the tunnels of the London Underground.

(4.5-minute read.)

Fluffing pays well!

There’s a young well-dressed woman, Natalie Harp, that follows Trump around whose job it is to provide him with printouts of people saying nice things about him.[2] [3] [4]  She gets paid by his campaign over $100,000 a year to do this.

Fluffing activity around Sleepy Don is nothing new.[5]  It’s reported that even his Secret Service entourage gets in on the act by telling people that he’s going to meet to be nice and pump him up.[6]  Trump’s not above fluffing himself when it comes to asking people to applaud him.[7]  He fluffs himself throughout the day by constantly posting and/or telling anyone within earshot how great he is in all of history when he’s not playing the perpetual victim and whining about how poor “Fat man who farts in sleep” is being treated.  (I used his Indian name.)

While I’m on the subject of ‘fluffing’ paying well I should mention that according to FEC filings Trump is also using campaign money to fluff his finances at his golf courses and other properties to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.[8]  $411,287 went to Mar a Lago.  $62,337 went to Trump National Doral Miami.  And it’s not just campaign money— in 2022 it was reported that the Secret Service had paid $1.4 million dollars to stay at Trump hotels.[9]  That’s a whole lot of financial fluffing paid for by all the taxpayers, not campaign dollars.  FOMs (Friends of Melania) also got in on some fluff money.  Among others, Melania’s hair stylist has knocked down $260,000 so far as a “strategy consultant.”

This stuff is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all of the grifting that the Trump family has done.  While MAGA Republicans bleat about Hunter Biden Trump’s family has made hundreds of millions off of his Presidency.  You have to count Ivanka and Jared Kushner in as family in on the grifting.  Jared makes $40 million a year off of the billions that the Saudis and other Mideast investors gave to his Affinity Partners firm.[10] [11]  All of the MAGA talk about the Biden family is a distraction to keep attention off of their grifting.

The Trump family is into fluffing.

Poor fluffing

We live in the Ozarks.  It’s quite the mix of poverty and wealth.  Lots of house trailers have Trump signs.  There are lots of seasonal low paying jobs in the service, entertainment and restaurant industries.  MAGA subjects are into Trump merch and sending tribute to their Dear Leader that can do no wrong in their eyes.  They are sadly Trump fluffers as well.  They aren’t a part of Trump’s Mar a Lago crowd and they never will be.  Trump grifts those that can least afford it.  All kidding aside.

That’s sad.

Defluffued.

            Sorry, I wandered a bit.

For a man that needs a lot of fluffing, Trump is in for a few rough weeks in his hush money criminal trial.  The judge is NOT going to allow Fluffing in his court.  I suppose Trump can get some fluffing during lunch and potty breaks.  Do they allow potty breaks in court?  If they don’t ‘Fat Man that Farts when he sleeps’ (Another Indian name) could be in trouble and not with just the gag order.

While we’re on the subject of gagging I don’t think that has anything to do with Trump’s incessant farting or reporters would have mentioned it.  You know, like “Trump farted and people in his immediate vicinity gagged at the stench.”  I haven’t found any commentary along those lines.  Yet.  I have read that he smells bad.[12]  Should people make fun of it?  It could be that he has a medical condition that cause excessive farting or maybe he just shits himself because of all the stress.  IDK

There really isn’t any way to know how much fluffing the rapist Trump is going to need in order to deal with all of the unsavory things prosecutors are going to be saying about him especially when questioning the porn star Stormy about her dalliance with him.  Then there’s Karen MacDougal talking about her months long affair with him when she takes the stand.  I’m not sure that enough fluffing is possible to keep his … mood … up after that.

Trump will spend a lot of his time just sitting and listening.  That’s it.  No fluffing.  According to people that worked for him Trump has the attention span of a gnat.  He likes pictures and graphs especially ones that he can draw on with his sharpie, so this is going to be very difficult for him.[13]

Then OMG what if Trump ends up in jail?!  (Seriously, he won’t.)  He’ll go through fluffing withdrawal.  At his age he was probably in the first stages anyway.

Or maybe the fluffers will be willing to go to jail too.
