Tired and true.

            A faux-news post will typically start out with ‘mainstream media isn’t reporting this’ and ask for people to share the information before Facebook pulls the post. Just every once in a while you’d think that the information that isn’t being shared by mainstream media would pan out to be true, but nope. False. It’s usually easy to tell that it’s false, especially when I’ll have already seen several news outlets carrying the story. The actual story without lies inserted.

            At times I will peruse a person’s page to see what kinds of stuff they share and what their sources of information are. Often on a conservatives or Trump supporter’s page there won’t be a single legitimate source of information referenced. Often the posts are just memes of false information and super-duper patriotic stuff mixed in with racist crap. Sometimes subtle. Sometimes not.

 There is NO changing his cult followers’ minds!

            Because of the outrageous things President Trump does and says on a regular basis it’s easy to see why people call him an idiot. I’ve done that a time or two myself. It’s easy to drift into name calling, especially on social media.

            But Trump isn’t really an idiot. He isn’t really average either. He ends up being below average mainly because he refuses to be educated. His followers embrace that aspect of his nature.  

Trump messaging:

            Crime is rampant! But it isn’t because things are better than they’ve ever been. Cities are on fire! But they aren’t. Keep America great! Trump is in charge. The virus is deadly. The virus is a hoax. (Trump said it. Trump repeated it. His cult believes it.) Trump stopped the virus. There’ll only be 50,000 dead. He accepts no responsibility. He’s in complete power. Anybody that wants a test can get one. There’s a deep state controlling things. He is in charge. Vaccines don’t work. Everyone will get a mask. Voter fraud by mail is rampant. Mailed ballots are safe. Vote by mail. Don’t vote by mail. Masks don’t work. The virus is deadly. The virus isn’t deadly. The Dems! Mexico will pay for the wall! Illegal immigrants are murdering rapists. Muslims are evil. The Russians are innocent. Hillary’s emails! He already has a better healthcare plan. He will have a better health care plan. Trump won’t have time to golf. He’ll throw Hillary in jail. Treason! Liberate! The Dems are stealing the election! He’s in charge.

            We’ve turned the corner. They know all this because….

No proof accepted in Trumplandia.

            They are true believers. They are armed with the uncontestable truth of ignorance and AR15s. There is no truth other than what they accept to be the truth as told by their Chosen One. Their Duce. They agree with what they want to believe. They view the world through an orange haze.

Shocking the pool.

            Currently there are at least twenty to thirty million people in this country that don’t have a real good idea of what’s going on in the real world. Their source of what’s “true” is the President of the United States along with Fox News Pravda, the state news outlet, Russian bots and fake sites. They are deniers; just like the holocaust deniers they have all the requisite fake support for their ridiculous counterpoint.

            Sometimes to clear a pool up it has to be shocked chemically. Then conditions get back to being normal and usable. Same thing for a well to get the stink out of it.

Holding back.

            The oh-so-righteous right to life Vice President Pence as well as Trump is telling seniors along with the nation that the corner is being turned in dealing with the virus! It’s going away…. again. Pence tells this to some of the most vulnerable to Covid-19 and they believe him. They believe him even though the President caught it and hosted a super spreading event at the White House. Honesty isn’t a part of Pence’s religious beliefs. Like the President he’s a killer with actions and words.

            By the way, the Vice President is also a young earth believer. Probably a lot of people don’t know that. The earth is less than ten thousand years old. There’s no such thing as dinosaurs. Jesus was a white guy. The earth is flat. There is a firmament in the sky holding back the waters. The bible says so. This is the guy in charge of the pandemic response.

Pence is holding back the virus.

What’s the point?

            IF Trump loses they won’t have an inkling as to why he lost other than the President telling them that the vote was rigged and our form of democracy doesn’t work. They won’t believe all the polls taken up until the election. It will be unacceptable to them that President Trump lost. Their Ducé.

            There will be no trusting of the honest information of others on their part.

Trump is their soul source.

 

WWTD?

            My general observation in life is that people who have the least compassion for others often end up being the ones that need it the most.

Divine providence.

            Seriously, What Would Trump Do (WWTD) if the situation were reversed? How would he act? The Greatest Draft Avoider couldn’t avoid the virus, try as he might. He created a bio-bubble of testing around him and the virus still got through. Walls don’t stop it. If he had avoided testing would the virus have still got to him?

            And it happened now. Of all the times that it could have happened it happened now. Wade in evangelicals. First God sent a plague. You didn’t get the memo. You did nothing and continued to support the Great Liar. Then God gave your “Chosen One” the virus. All a part of God’s plan? The Liar got the virus so that we wouldn’t have to? Oops! Can’t say that since 220,000 have died in the country and it is a worldwide pandemic where millions will die before it’s over.

            Divine providence?

            Hardly.

            Mankind screwed this up. We’re good at that.

            If President Obama had had any of this happen on his watch Evangelicals would be shouting from the pulpit that this was God’s revenge on a fallen nation.

White House Covid-19 Hot Spot

            So who would have thought that the White House would turn into a hot spot for the Covid-19 contagion and the President of the United States would be a super spreader? Well the answer to that question should be self-evident and is to people that live in the real world. The only really big surprise is that it didn’t happen before this.

            That was one cold-blooded SOB move for Trump to go ahead and go to his rich friends’ fundraiser knowing that he had been exposed along with his team. There have got to be some pissed off attendees over that. (Depending on which timeline you believe, he may have already tested positive before attending the fundraiser. It certainly seems that he might already have been symptomatic as well.)

Dusting

            I have seen a few dust-ups over how people should talk about President Trump since he was air-lifted to Walter Reed because he caught Covid-19. The primary gist from Trump’s die-hard cult members seems to be that people that claim he’s an unfeeling asshole only concerned about himself should be showing a lot more compassion in his time of need.

            In other words people should show the compassion that they espouse to a serial killer who is directly responsible for killing tens of thousands of people unnecessarily.

Trump killed my Dad….

            ….or mom or uncle or aunt or fill in the blank. That’s what surviving family members are in the news saying.

My dad is dead because he believed Trump about the virus being a hoax.

My mom is dead because she wouldn’t wear a mask because of President Trump.

My family is dead because they all got together thinking that it was safe because of President Trump.

Garden party.

            An uninvited guest crashed the Rose Garden Party. The White House Rose Garden appears to be where many people contracted the virus. Everyone had been tested beforehand. It’s evident that mistakes were made. Because attendees were under the mistaken notion that they were safe, many, if not most, went mask-less, even indoors. They ignored the science. They ignored the data. They ignored the recommendations of epidemiologists. Like his cult followers they thought that they were safe.

They were wrong.

Never pivoted.

            WWTD? There was talk from some Trump supporters that when Trump became President he would pivot to being and acting Presidential. He didn’t he got worse. At the end of his term he is emboldened by the power of the office and his character flaws have become worse. He’s now a playground bully with power.

            So what would Trump do if the situation were reversed and it was Biden that acquired Covid-19?

Ω  First off he would have made fun of him for wearing a mask and still getting Covid-19. He makes fun of sick people. They’re disgusting to him.

Ω  Trump tees off with lies. His supporters pass on his lies whether they believe them or not.

Ω  He would call people names.

Ω  Insults would pour out of him just like they always do.

Ω  People around him would be blamed for him getting Covid-19. Not him.

I’ll take sociopaths for $500, Bob!

            President Trump is saying that he wants to get back to holding rallies! He’s raring to go! He’s chomping at the bit! Back to business as usual. He survived! Now he’s willing to sacrifice even more people worshiping at his altar.

            In his comments before being airlifted to Walter Reed hospital and receiving the best medical care possible and from the hospital, he didn’t mention his team or the Secret Service men and women that he puts at unnecessary risk because of the image he wants to portray of being a macho non-mask wearer. He takes no responsibility.

He is what he is.

Well that’s comforting.

Moscow Mitch says ….

…. there will be a peaceful transfer of power. Well, that’s comforting. A consiglieri to the Boss of Bosses says that we shouldn’t worry in spite of the fact that he and his capos have just en mass gone back on their words in regards to not appointing a Supreme Court judge during an election year. McConnell is a leader of the Republican plan to see to it that Trump is re-elected by any means, including stealing the election.

Repitition.

            I have already said that I believe Trump is going to win the election. Thanks to the Atlantic article additional supporting knowledge has been provided. We are watching it happen in real time.

            As an example in North Carolina almost one million ballots have been requested. In 2016 the number of mail in ballots cast was 200,000. 150,000 have already been returned. (This is as of September 24, 2020.) In 2016 around 4.8 million voted.

So what’s the problem?

            Democrats have been returning ballots at twice the rate of Republicans. That’s the problem. It’s called the Blue Shift. It’s the problem nationally for Republicans. That’s why we are possibly not going to know the winner of the election on November 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th or whenever. That’s why the Boss of Bosses wants to go with the election night vote.

            In Arizona in 2018 on the day after the election on election night Republican McSally was “winning” by over 15,000 votes. As the votes were tabulated in the days that followed, her opponent, Kyrsten Sinema, picked up over 71,000 votes. Hillary Clinton gained almost 3 million votes in California in the days that followed the 2016 election date, giving her the predicted win of the popular vote.

            NO, it wasn’t due to illegal voting. Trump cult members will be forever wedded to this idea. According to The Hill, a reliable media outlet that skews conservative, fraudulent voting happened .00006 % of the time nationally in the last two decades. Republicans are in control of the majority of state legislatures including swing states. So if fraud is taking place Republicans should stop doing it even though the boss of bosses is telling people to commit voter fraud.

That’s the whole point.

No contest.

Republicans along with Evangelicals really don’t care for a form of government that puts average citizens first in line and opposes state media and religion. Republicans want to see to it that this election is contested. It’s why Trump as President has done his level best with the complete support of his cult to undermine democracy and faith in our way of government. It’ll be perfect if they can blame the Dems but either way they have the opportunity for mayhem. Chaos is the hallmark of Trump’s reign as President.

He’s the King of chaos as well as debt.
