            At some point this year trials and plea bargains followed by sentencing will start for the insurrectionists that stormed the Capitol to stop the will of “We the People” from taking place. Those that assaulted police will do some time.

            I think everyone should keep in mind two things: former President Trump could have pardoned all those involved in the insurrections. All of them. Every. One. As President he could have done that and none of them would be facing the serious jail time that they are now facing. He also could have done just as he said that he would and marched to the Capitol with them. He could have led them right through the barricades and into the building. As I have said before who would have stopped him?

But he didn’t.

            So now lawyers will argue that they believed that they were carrying out crimes at the behest of the President. The President that hung them out to dry. The very people that he said he loved on the day of the insurrection. But they lost. Trump the loser doesn’t like losers.

            So the lawyers will talk about the events of the day hundreds of times.

The news will be the news.

Willful ignorance.

            Tired of hearing about Trump? President Biden is, along with a majority chunk of America. Tired of hearing about the insurrection at the Capitol to overturn the vote of “We the People?” Republicans think that it’s too partisan to talk about their ongoing treason to the United States.

            Seventy percent plus of Trump MAGAT Heads believe that the election was stolen. Yes, it’s 2021 and we have somewhere between 30 and 70 million people rejecting reality. In spite of 100% of the truth that there was zero widespread voter fraud and zero actual proof ever submitted by Republicans in court the majority of Republicans commit to saying that they don’t believe the election results.

            What an incredible surprise that was! Okay, not really. Republican Senators found their golden idol holiness former President Trump not guilty. The only people that didn’t see that coming were some Democrats that believe that truth will take the day. It never hurts to dream.

             Like I said before if they found him guilty they would be finding themselves guilty. They spread, and continue to spread, the same lying crap to their beyond gullible cult MAGAT Head followers that he does. They should have pled the 5^th Amendment.

            This is almost funny except it’s sad. Pence, the Vice President whose life Trump put in jeopardy wants to run for President. He’ll need the blessing of the enfant terrible Trump to do that right along with all the other….hm….what word should I use….brides, yes we’ll go with brides although it isn’t really my first choice.  Nope. On second thought it’s just funny.

Guilty Not Guilty

            Trump’s world. Poor Trump. Victim Trump. People pick on Trump. Sad 2 Xs impeached Trump. It’s all about Trump’s world all the time. The world as it relates to Trump.

            He tried to stage a coup and was defeated. Moscow Mitch McConnell wouldn’t allow a trial while Trump was President. Then after Trump lost the Presidency McConnell said that he couldn’t be tried because he wasn’t President. Ah yes, as it was in the beginning so it ever is.

            Then after voting “not guilty” he said that Trump was guilty.

What about

            Those that were encouraged by Trump and then denied by Trump will have their days in court. Expect some of them to do some time. There will be plea bargains for the lesser charges. It isn’t all bad. Lawyers will make some money. MAGAT Heads are claiming that they just did what their President told them to do. This would be the President that denied them. Had he actually done what he said that he would do and walked with them right into the Capitol building their claims would be truthful. Still an attempted coup but at least they would have had their leader with them. But alas his bone spurs reactivated and he wasn’t able to lead them.

            He golfed.

They’ll be getting their body cavities searched.

The injured.

            There were around 140 Capitol Police and Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department officers that were seriously injured.  And by serious I mean these types of injuries.

• After getting hit with a stun gun six times an officer had a heart attack.
• Another officer lost part of a finger.
• Concussions from getting hit with clubs, poles, bats, fists, metal pipes
• Obviously a lot of sprains, bruised arms, legs and swollen hands and feet.
• Eye damage from laser pointers being shone into their eyes.
• Lacerations
• Burns
• Rib fractures
• A couple of shattered spinal discs.
• An officer was stabbed.
• One officer might lose his eye.

            These men and women were in a pitched battle for 4 to 5 hours against a Trump mob numbering in the thousands not just chanting for violence but inflicting violence. The majority of these traitors still insist and falsely believe that Trump won.

Where’s their justice?!

            Where is the justice for all the injured police? Where’s the justice for the terrorized congressional staff that hid in fear of their lives that day?

            The Republican Senators and House members let the Traitor leader off the hook by reason of paperwork not being filed in timely manner.

This is NOT who we are!

            Trump lost Biden won. MAGATrump Heads don’t believe it. If they were the least bit interested in the truth they wouldn’t be following Trump. It’s why they staged a coup.

            I have watched a lot of video of the Republican MAGATrump Head insurrectionists trashing the Capitol to overturn the vote of “We the People.” One video that I watched bears mentioning. A MAGAT supporter was telling his fellow seditionists, “This isn’t who we are!” as they ran by him on the steps of the Capitol.

Has he never been to a Trump rally?

            The crowd of MAGAT insurrectionists at the Capitol was exactly like those that attend every Trump rally. The crowd out front claiming that it was a peaceful demonstration were providing cover for their thug comrades. Same signs. Same messages. Same T-shirts. Same racists present. Their tyranny dressed in the colors of the government that they would overthrow.

The poop was different.

            Okay, okay I’ll give you that the MAGAT Heads didn’t usually play with their poop at Trump rallies. That was new. They saved that behavior for the Capitol. Evidently the coup planners didn’t think that providing Port a Potties was necessary. #1. Storm Capitol. #2. Poop on floors.

            At least they didn’t share selfies of them doing it.

So there’s that.

Howlers.

            The horned fur hat wearing, bare chested, face painted, howling, Q believing MAGAT Head shaman along with the camouflaged geared up Proud Boys are quintessential representatives of the willful ignorance of the traitors to our nation. They wave patriotic symbols while trashing Democracy because it doesn’t support the beliefs they hold sacred. Beliefs like White Nationalism and racism.

            MAGAT Heads support what happened at the Capitol and turn against any of their seditious brethren that don’t go along. The violent mob we saw….

Is exactly either who they are or who they want to be.

Try and focus

            In a video of a focus group of MAGAT supporters that didn’t attend the coup attempt they all but one expressed sympathy for those that trashed the Capitol. The same holds true for the majority of comments posted by MAGAT Heads in comments about the insurgency. They were there in spirit and probably would have gone too but their guns were at the cleaners.

            The surprise to me is that they were almost uniform in their condemnation of Vice President Pence. Now I think in general Pence is at the very top of the list when it comes to obsequious sycophants to EX President Trump. He practically fawns on Trump. I’m surprised he’s able to meet him without his wife being present. They’re as loyal to Trump’s followers as he is. You know—the ones that he didn’t pardon or help with their legal expenses. After all….

These are tough times for billionaires.

How do they know?

            Not a surprise that none of the focus group followed mainstream news. None. Only one of the group watched Fox Pravda and that was only the opinion sideshows. Several pointed out that they don’t know who to believe and ‘trust no one’ was also real popular. They don’t trust anyone. Well, except for their fellow MAGAT Heads that also don’t trust anyone. Kind of a loop there.

            BTW it was Fox Lawyers defending their network in court that claimed their talking head Carlson wasn’t a journalist and couldn’t be trusted. Their talking heads in general have a flexible relationship with the truth on their best days. On most days they just lie. This isn’t good enough for the MAGAT Heads. They know what they already know that they have been told that they know. They want their truth that is lies 24/7/365.

            Based upon what they “knew” they not only trashed the Capitol in an attempted coup they trashed 224 years of having a peaceful transfer of power.

So where does what they “know” come from exactly?

            They know that they believed Trump’s messaging from the very beginning. They don’t want anyone telling them what to do about anything except for Trump and he says trust no one! He tells them that what they believe is righteous. It’s okay to be loud and crude. They are right to want walls to keep out other races and religions. It’s okay to call people of color animals, rapists and criminals. Money comes before everything! Life included. There is no class warfare because they’re the only class that matters. The world that Trump wants is the world that they want. Even though Trump never lets them into his daily world he validates what they want to believe and can’t have. It isn’t about policy. They want subservience. They want intimidation. It’s about power. White power.

They know what they know.

The rally cry

            MAGAT Heads believe what the collective believes. The collective believes Trump. Trump believes Trump.

Not guilty

            There isn’t any way that I can see 17 Republicans siding with Democrats to vote Trump guilty of inciting an insurrection. He is clearly guilty, but if they find him guilty then they are admitting their own guilt as well. They are judging themselves and they are their own jury.

            They have either backed Trump or excused his lies, actions, false conspiracies, behavior and sedition. They will hide behind the Constitution that they have sought to destroy while they continue to incite the Republican MAGA seditionists.

            Everybody should be held accountable!

• A current member of the House, Marjorie Taylor Greene, threatened to kill Democrats and FBI agents PRIOR to getting elected. She believes in the Q! (She also thinks the wildfires in California were started by giant space lasers.)
• Republican MAGA Congressional seditionists tried to overturn the lawful vote of “We the People”.
• In Texas, Rep. Kyle Biedermann submitted a bill for the state to secede from the United States. Prior to the 2016 election, the largest secession website in the country was in Texas and run by the Russians. There are other Republican secession movements as well.
• Secession movements among Republicans aren’t new. Sarah Palin’s husband Todd, now divorced, was a member of a secession Party in Alaska and she attended one of their conventions.
• In Oregon, the state RNC passed a resolution calling the attack on the Capitol a “false flag” and that the Democrats were actually the ones that did it. (For reals.)
• Representative Kevin McCarthy said that it was all our fault. (And some Nazis are very fine people too while we’re at it.)
• In Arizona they censured their Representative Cindy McCain, Senator Jeff Flake and Gov. Doug Ducey for not being seditiony enough even though McCain supported overturning the lawful vote of “We the People” in the Presidential election.
• Alaska Republican Jamie Allard defended a 3Reich vanity plate as being benign. She was on the Human Rights Commission and has since been removed.
• Georgia Republican State Representative David Clark was removed from the chamber for refusing to test for Covid. They don’t like wearing masks and they don’t like being tested.
• This is a favorite of mine. Neo-Nazi and Holocaust denier Arthur Jones won the Republican nomination for the 3rd Congressional District in Illinois. Yes, an actual Nazi won a GOP primary. The RNC blamed media for him winning. Classic!
• I’m going to just stop here without bothering to list all the racists that were uncovered in the Trump Administration. Some of you might remember their resignations.

 The Dudes

            I should avoid starting these lists because they could just go on forever and seditious MAGA Republicans will either respond with some irrelevant whataboutism or share some highly detailed erroneous piece of information. The link provides a nice explanation of the concept of whataboutism and I love this line from their definition, “If everyone is guilty of something, is no one guilty of anything?”

            House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy signed on to answering the above quote affirmatively.  “As a nation, I know we sit back and we’re appalled by what we’re seeing,” McCarthy said. “But I want everybody to take a deep breath and understand: We all have some responsibility here.”

Cray. Real cray.

            But keep in mind that they are using the “Dudes” defense as in some other dudes did it. It wasn’t the seditious terrorists Proud Boys and MAGA insurrectionists. It was Antifa, Democrats and BLM infiltrators! So the crowd that just looked and acted like the people at every Trump rally that has ever been were cunningly disguised imposters with all of their Trump flags, paraphernalia and White Racist gear.

            They were good. They were so good that they fooled the FBI by infiltrating hundreds of Facebook pages with videos posted by people that actually looked like the people they were impersonating.

             So, Republicans are the ‘Law and Order’ Party with the following exceptions and disclaimers:

• Upholding their oaths of Office.
• Sacking the Capitol.
• Their own responsibility for continuing to incite treasonous behavior.
• Being truthful about Trump losing the election.
• Recognizing 62 court decisions about the election being legal and their being zero widespread fraud.
• Holding the President accountable for inciting an insurrection while holding the Seditious Republican MAGA terrorists responsible.
• Being truthful in general.

            So they are the Law and Order Party.

Trial of the Century

            We’re going to have ringside seats to the Senate trial concerning the article of impeachment. There will be lots of really good speeches. LOTs. Evidence will be presented. Republicans will reject it. Make that denounce it. They have pressing party matters to protect. Trump is giving them orders perceived as threats. The party is still his.

            We need to keep in mind during the trial Trump’s infamous remarks to the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by!” until he turned them loose on the Capitol and Congress. In the immortal words of Vice President Pence in regards to excusing whatever malicious act Trump commits.

“Well, that’s Donald Trump.”
