Trumpin’ in Georgia.

On message.

The head of the RNC, along with other Republican spokesliars, was in Georgia campaigning for the two filthy rich Senate Republicans seeking reelection with unique messaging.

The election was and is hopelessly rigged against Trump by Republicans that supported Trump!

Everything in the electoral process in Georgia, like the rest of the country, is corrupt, including the Republicans running it!

The Republican Senators supporting Trump’s river of lies aren’t supporting him enough by demanding the vote of the people be overturned!

            Voting machines are rigged!

            Software is rigged!

            Mail in ballots are rigged!

Trust the electoral process and vote Republican in the upcoming Senate election!

            Got it?!

Whaaaaaaaaaat?

Normal people.

Their messaging might seem to be on the illogical side and somewhat counterproductive. On the one hand they’re saying the system has failed completely while on the other they’re saying trust the system. To their credit the Republicans actually running the electoral system in Georgia are saying that not only are they Trump supporters and voted for Trump but that the system worked. Trump says that they’re liars.

Now on the face of it some folks might consider that this kind of messaging is kind of a hard sell to make. Some folks might think that if they’re being told the system is rigged it seems kind of pointless to turn out and vote since their votes won’t matter anyway.

“Some folks” aren’t Trump supporters. Being crazy isn’t a requirement for believing messaging like this but it helps. For them messaging of opposite claims is an

Easy sell.

“Alice laughed. ‘There's no use trying,’ she said. ‘One can't believe impossible things.’

‘I daresay you haven't had much practice,’ said the Queen. ‘When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes, I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.’” –Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll

Agendas

Right now the Trump Administration is like a Disney ride. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride comes to mind. Republicans are holding super spreading parties, super spreading hearings and attending super spreading election rallies in order to commemorate what will be the worst medical disaster in the our nation’s history, THAT THEY CAUSED. They are a plague in and of themselves. Concern for the wellbeing of others is out the window. Killing people is their agenda. Denying health care is their agenda. Starving people back to work during a pandemic is their agenda. Giving money to the wealthy is their agenda. Obstructing legislation that benefits working people is their agenda. It’s what they’re good at.

Will the people of Georgia vote out the two corrupt Republican Senators seeking to line their own pockets while paying allegiance to McConnell and their Chosen One Liar? Hard to say. BUT if people want a chance at coming out of this in better shape then they should consider voting for Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff for Senate in Georgia. Put someone in office that cares about

YOU and those that you care about!

Biden’s for life!

We define who we are.

So yes, I am pro-life and pro-choice and not for abortion. The terms are not mutually exclusive. If you are serious about lowering the abortion rate you can be too. The Evangelical Party of Trump likes to think that they’re in charge of defining who we are. They aren’t.

We are.

Pro Life

President Elect Joe Biden is pro-life and pro-choice; that’s why I voted for him. The same holds true for Vice President Elect Kamala Harris and any Democratic candidate that is also pro-choice like Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff seeking the office of Senator in Georgia.

The BEST way to lower the rate of abortion is to vote for pro-choice candidates. They aren’t looking to punish vulnerable women by putting them in jail. Pro-choice administrations have succeeded in reducing the rate of abortion.

BTDT

Evangelicals and Republicans haven’t been able to punish abortion away. Doesn’t work like that. When and where abortion was and is made illegal women continue to get abortions. Making it illegal doesn’t change the ‘why’ women seek abortion. It just drives desperate women to seek even more desperate measures. Evangelicals along with Republicans are into punishment. They want to designate a few million women as being murderers and throw them in jail. Don’t think so? Then it isn’t the murder that they say they believe it is.

Those women aren’t murderers.

Make a real difference.

Interested in reducing the number of abortions? There are ways that are proven to succeed. Proven to reduce the number of women seeking abortion.

Ω  Support affordable contraception.

Ω  Support sex education.

Just those two items alone make a difference. Not even complicated. Unless you’re a Conservative or Evangelical. Naturally they oppose the simple measures that work. Just like they oppose wearing masks. We had basic sex education when I was in grade school. We needed it!

Ω  Support reducing poverty.

A tough one.

Reducing poverty is a tough one. The 40 to 50 million people living in poverty haven’t seen much difference made in their lives regardless of what party controls government. It isn’t going to be quick and it isn’t going to be pretty. If you’re serious about reducing poverty and the need for abortions never vote for a Republican again. I was a Republican. I’m not any longer and I will leave the ballot blank before I will ever vote for a Republican again.

What can be done?

Ω  Increase the minimum wage.

Ω  Get people health care!

Ω  Make higher education available to the poor and affordable to the middle class without crushing debt paid to banks!

Ω  Multimillionaire Republicans think providing people food and shelter is asking too much! Take back the senate!

Vote for candidates like Warnock and Ossoff that will provide President Biden the support that he needs to….

Make America kind again

Corny question.

https://www.nsf.gov/news/mmg/media/images/IMG_9682.JPG

Painful

I have to write about the candidate for an Iowa Senate seat, Theresa Greenfield. Greenfield is the challenger. She was asked a question about the price of corn in a debate with Ernst. Asked and answered. Bam!  Then Senator Ernst gave it a shot when asked about the price of soybeans. OMG! It was almost painful to watch. Give it a look if you haven’t seen it.

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy6fk3UDqes

 Classic

She should have just said that she didn’t know. Instead she gave a long winded answer that had nothing to do with the question that she was asked. Classic Trump.

And then

Then the moderator said that she didn’t answer his question. He said it in a nice way. Then he said that she SHOULD KNOW THE ANSWER. She didn’t. So she really got to make the guy hammer the point in.

And then

Then she claimed that Greenfield didn’t get it right either. Classic! The problem? Greenfield got it right. Then Ernst wanted to be asked the same question that Greenfield was asked. Well, Greenfield already gave the answer to that question so that would have been an easy one for Ernst to answer.

And then

Then Ernst said that she must have had an equipment problem. Classic! Yet she claimed that she knew that Greenfield got it wrong. Uh, what?

And then

I’ve got my ‘and thens’ out of order here I think. At one point Ernst also indicated that she didn’t understand the question. Somewhere in all of this she did give a dollar figure to some kind of answer for something that was also wrong. The whole thing was pretty brutal. Will it make a difference in the election? It should, and not just because she didn’t know the answer to an Iowa farm question. It was the weaseling that she did afterwards.

She’s been hanging with too many rich people in suits.

 Went and stayed.

The problem exemplified by Ernst is one that happens all over the country. People go to Washington, stay in Washington and become Washington. They don’t have to. But they do. They buy homes there and put down roots there. No, I have no idea of where Ernst stays when she’s not in Iowa.

Then they do as Ernst did. They start taking care of the people in suits that don’t need taking care of BUT the suits give them money.

If I lived in Iowa I would vote for Greenfield for her name alone. Well, her name, her position on issues, her understanding, her presence and for the way that she answered—

that corn question!

Count yourself in.

Here’s where we’re at.

I have been writing about Trump since before he was elected the first time. This would have been during the time when he was given hundreds of millions of dollars of free air time by all the media that he now derides.

About Trump.

Yes I know that I’ve said that Trump is going to get reelected. I’ve said it at least a couple of times. Maybe more. I’ll probably write about him another half dozen times between now and November 3rd. Final Vote day with a few exceptions by state and the Supreme Court. The USSC may or may not vote in this election.

Just do something.

People have the power to create change, to participate. If even half of the impoverished in this country voted there would be more frequent changing of the guard at the top.

There are all sorts of platitudes that are offered up to get non-voters to vote. I’ll probably offer up a few myself. But mainly people just need to get off their ass and do something.

What have you got to lose?

What have you got to lose? The President likes to say that when trying to get people to vote for him. Well vote to lose him to the trash pile of history. (What you’ve got to lose is your job, Social Security, your health care – if you’re lucky enough to have it in the first place.)

People offer up all sorts of reasons for not voting. Whatever the excuse is then change it. If someone says that their vote doesn’t make a difference than they need to join others that say that they don’t make a difference and vote. Enough of them voting will make a difference.

YOU make a difference.

I vote because.

If nothing else you can say I voted against evil. That’s good enough for me. I like knowing that even if no one else knows it.

If you’ve lost your job vote against the Republicans that put you out of work. If you don’t have insurance or are about to lose it vote out the republicans that did that to you.

If you don’t want religion imposed upon you vote against Republicans.

If you think eating is a fundamental right vote against Republicans.

If you think that brown children shouldn’t be taken from their parents vote against Republicans.

If you think that people come before money vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

If you value your life and the lives of your friends, family and loved ones vote against any Republican seeking office.

Biden wasn’t my first choice, but on his worst possible day, he’s a better man than Trump on his very best day. Recognize the evil that Trump embodies and stop looking for excuses why you can’t vote for Biden.

Vote Blue!
