Same old Trump
What Moscow Mitch feared has come to pass. Trump has taken center stage of Election Midterms 2022 as he goes on his revenge tour. As it turns out the national state elections are about him! When Trump holds a rally the candidates he’s endorsing only get a couple of minutes of showtime. That’s it. Then it’s an hour or more of a twisting-turning-face-contorting-lip-pursing Trump airing his grievances, name calling, etc.; Classic Trump in other words.
Will that be helpful?
Not really the kind of messaging that Republicans want for their House and Senate candidates in contested states but the kind of messaging that MAGA heads of the Trump Party love to hear from their vainglorious leader. He was the victim before he ran for office, while he was in office and since he left office AND he did leave the White House, his latest claim that he recently had dinner there with Zuckerberg notwithstanding.[1] It’s kind of poetic that the out of touch with reality leader of the MAGA Heads will be the face of the Republican Party in these last few critical weeks of the 2022 midterms.
The cabal of men and women that Trump has endorsed that are seeking office are woefully inadequate, practically across the board, for the job. Their main credentials are sucking up to Trump, denying the outcome of the election, overthrowing our form of government and doing whatever their master Trump says. In other words, they are true MAGA Heads. What is hard to accept in this election cycle is that these people are supported by a large enough section of our population to actually get elected.
Believe a lie and you’re his guy!
