The 4^th Branch.

            Okay, you know how we used to have 3 branches of government.  The executive, legislative, and judicial.  Well, we can now for sure add the MAGA branch of government since Dear Leader Trump is now giving orders to federal and state legislators on what they are supposed to and how they are supposed to vote.  The MAGA quislings[1] grovel all over themselves to do the bidding of their fascist invader the rapist Donald J. Trump.

            As I have said previously, Trump’s coup attempt is ongoing.  He’s still actively doing everything that he can to undermine our Republic. 

            On the rapist Trump’s behalf his MAGA Republican followers, Gaetz and Stefanic, in the House of Representatives have introduced a resolution saying that Trump didn’t engage in an insurrection or rebellion.[2]  So far 60 of his traitor wanna’ be MAGA Republican have signed on as co-sponsors. 

There’ll be more.

Playbook delay.

            So far, the judicial branch is holding fast to the law, both liberal and conservative judges alike.  The DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Trump is NOT immune from prosecution.  It was a unanimous decision of the 3-judge panel.  The appeals court has given Trump until February 12^th to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court of the United States.  If Trump doesn’t, the stay on the January 6 trial will be lifted and Judge Chutkin and Prosecutor Jack Smith can go back to getting him tried for some of the crimes the rapist Trump has committed.   

            Trump could also ask for the entire appeals court to hear the case.  They could reject doing that but it would burn through more time.  Classic delay tactic.  Here's the kicker though.  If Trump asks for the entire court to hear the appeal the case will go back to Judge Chutkin to pursue.  The stay will be lifted.

            The Supremes are getting ready to hear arguments February 8^th about removing Trump from the ballot in various states because he violated the 14^th Amendment.  I’m not optimistic but some judicial heavy hitter legal conservatives along with historians have weighed in on amicus briefs that Trump should be barred, according to our constitution.[3] [4] [5] 

            Now there’s for sure a couple of Supremes that will never budge BUT the rapist Trump has seriously pissed off judges all over the nation with his antics and threats against those involved with our judicial system.  It seems wild to think this but it would only take 2 of the conservatives to join the liberals for a 5/4 decision.  SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts has been a moderate conservative so if he throws in only one more justice is needed.  Just one more.  It’s hard to imagine that happening.

            Whatever happens Trump will continue doing what he is doing right now.  If the Supreme Court okays pulling his name off the ballot, I believe that Trump will try and start another insurrection.

Chaos is his game.
