            All the commentary on the mental cognition of either candidate serves as a distraction as to what we should be talking about in this presidential election.

            Yes, President Biden is a gaffe machine.  That isn’t anything new.  My favorite gaffe is when he was caught on a hot mic when he was Vice President saying that the passing of the Affordable care Act was a big fucking deal.  It was.  Republicans lost their ever-lovin’ minds over his language though. 

            Yes, Trump’s comments have drifted into the bizarre and his talks at rallies are increasingly erratic.  His comments are just gibberish at times because they are devolving into some kind of weird word salad.  However, I think that his behavior is largely due to the incredible amount of stress that he’s under.  He’s a heart attack waiting to happen.

            Yes, a President’s mental state is of importance but in a functioning government a President should also be surrounded by competent assistance.  President Biden has that.  President Trump never had that.  His Administration was a revolving door and many of those that stuck with him to the bitter end are now some of his biggest critics.  They are warning the nation not to make the mistake of electing him again.

            As for the MAGA Republicans serving in Congress they have proved that they are unable to pass legislation of govern.  They are also uninterested in it, because it might make President Biden look good. Even those that opposed Trump and ran against him briefly to try and secure the nomination promised to pardon him if elected.  Haley the last MAGA standing has also promised to pardon him if elected. 

Therein the problem resides.

 What do you get when you run a nation based upon lies?

Russia.

Bigger problem than Trump

            With so much focus on the chaos that is Trump it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that Trump is just a symptom of a much larger disease.  It is all the little MAGA fascist Trumps waiting in the wings.  It is all the people cheering his fascist comments that make MAGA possible.  They are his < enablers > and they will enable anyone like him.

            Legacy Republicans that will vote against Trump but for all the other MAGA Republicans on the ticket are still voting for the Trump agenda. 

Trump’s agenda is their agenda.

The main event

            I can’t help but wonder how many Germans that supported Hitler considered that he might destroy their country and start a war that would kill as many as 80 million people including millions of Germans?  They learned from their history and today they support Ukraine against their Russian aggressor and Putin, the new Hitler.

            What’s Trump doing?  Campaigning like he would run the government like some kind of mafia protection racket saying that if a NATO country doesn’t pay up (?) he thinks that Russia (Putin) should do their worst and America wouldn’t lift a finger because we didn’t get our vig.  

            Trump, a man found to be a rapist, that openly praises the actions of dictators, says that he wants to be a dictator, uses Nazi language when talking about immigrants, uses violent rhetoric in his speeches, talks about using the power of our government to get even with his enemies, threatens rounding up immigrants and putting them in camps along with mass deportations, tried to remain in power after losing the election, wanted to use the military to stay in power, and worked on a coup to overthrow our democracy is the front runner in our Presidential election.  And that was just a partial list of his depravity. 

            With this kind of resume is an American Kristallnacht possible if Trump gets elected?
